But its not gonna be that much here and its still alot. Look at how the xbox came out at £300 then had to drop because it was too expensive.
$465 = €368 If it came our for that price here I'd be very surprised. Even if it was released at $465 I'd guess it'd be sold for about €400 here. Which I guess I'd pay.
Well the PS2 was like IR£280 here when it came out first, so it's not really that much more. I remember the original PlayStation was some insane price when that was new, and that's why I had to wait till christmas '97 for mine!
You have to take into account that launch prices for systems are always more expensive in Japan. In the US $300.00 has been the break point for so long it is almost expected. I can see it going for maybe $350.00 but not over that.
I'm telling you, there's no way in fuggin' hell I'm getting that for more than 199 dollars. Which means I'm gonna buy it like a year after launch.
:-D I have to agree with you 100% there Funkstar De Luxe. All I ever see recently is "I'm not paying $XXX for that" When you're getting the bloody stuff cheaper than anyone else thanks to the state of the US Dollar. Poor Brits have it far wose but you don't hear them complaining that much. Same when I sell stuff to people in the US. THe first thing I always get is "I'M not paying $XX for postage" Fucks sake, it cost just the same to post stuff to Europe but I never get that. Sorry for my rant but I just had to say it. Yakumo

Haha - don't be crazy. Many people have jobs To be honest though, I think this new Gen will be a little more expensive, but look at the equipment you are getting for your money. If the PS3 shots are actual in game video, then even Pixar are fucked.
