I'm pretty sure it depends on the region. I can still access it in the US. Plus you can always buy games on a PS3 and transfer them (until the PS Store for PS3 is shut down, but that won't be for a while)

Or use Mediago, Sony's iTunes clone thing.

I legitimately forgot that existed until now.

    I think I used it...like...4 years ago?

Yea. Sony wanted to be in the limelight in everything back then... Computers, video game consoles, tv's, software algorithms, the works...

There's a good chance it doesn't have it but there's only one way to find out. ;)

I wiped my PSP to test some more, and I could access my local store (Singapore) and the USA one too.

@Sephirothkefka: your router should have one. The D-Link DIR-825 here has got such a security mode, and it's already fairly modern.

Problem is that the computer that has the utility is a computer I'm not going to screw with for awhile. Besides, it might make my other things a bit wonky, especially my 802.11ac device (Xbone).

It's pretty simple. If you're on wireless, you can log in remotely, anyway. If you're scared about destroying your config, just back it up first and restore it later if you don't like your changes.

I thought there was a WPA2 mod for the PSP that you could install, though. Maybe I was misinformed, or perhaps it is problematic for some reason. I'm not sure. (This was probably a discussion we had before the site died.)

Anyway, as you said before, it is indeed just an update for the one game (although I'm still not sure WHICH game or what problems it actually), and CFW is out already (more of which is on its way, apparently). I don't think this is enough to completely resurrect the PSP CFW scene, but it's at least prompted them to take another look at it, despite the changes needed for 6.61 being super minor.

Speaking of minor things, I kinda wish they'd just made it OFW v7, just as a kind of last hurrah sorta thing. Maybe next year, once they've beaten the Vita to a pulp.

It's just a number anyways but it's also only a minor update so I don't think it warrants being upped to 7 personally.
