Question about first dates and the process, please.

If you are studying posts etc, you will be trying to hard.

When you try hard, you fail.

 

I'm not REALLY studying them, let alone "studying too hard", I'm taking that information just like anything else you may read up on. I'm only keeping at the back of my mind to save myself from being stomped on without knowning.

 

Its unfortunate that advice can only go so far... its honestly one of those things you just learn yourself.

My best advice would be - dont be disheartened if it doesnt go right/well. Its all a learning experience and you will get better.

That is true, we learn from our mistakes. It's just that my last attempted hurt me so badly. I'm hoping this woman is a lot different.

 

I am a bit confused by this statement. What does the country's age of consent have to do with thinking about or being interested in sex?

 

When its something you are legally allowed to do (and is mentioned a fair amount at that age) - its something you start to think about.

How many people say at 17 "I can legally drink next year!"

Same thing with sex, which therefore means you are thinking about it.

Also, England has an extremely high teenage pregnancy rate - therefore, if you are from England you seem more likely to be doing these things younger than other countries.

 

My advice is to ignore all the advice you have been given and just go with the flow!

Dating is supposed to be fun so why plan anything...

Good luck man! Just have fun! The more you date, the more girls you'll meet, the better you'll be able to figure out what kind of girl you want. But I'm talking about just dating. Getting into multiple 6 month+ relationships isn't that fun. Just hang out with people and be cool.

 

However, why not use other's mistakes to learn from them It's not like he's supposed to be an entirely different person.

Well it's been 48hours and nothing yet, maybe she's thinking of a time or something. Perhaps figuring out her timetable or something. I did mention the "date" to be next Saturday.

I shouldn't jump to any conclusions yet :/

 

I'd expect anything between 24-48hrs. After 48 it's a bit long though... although some girls tend to check their facebook only once a day at night or only once in a few days even which is unfortunate

If she wouldn't reply, write CUNT on her wall, sent messages with imaginary spicy details about her to her friends and just move on like a gentleman.
