Why would the guy that sent the message make that up, and whats stranger, WHY would godofhardcore post it in off topic?

It really is and please don't think that has changed. There are plenty of other websites that wouldn't have been nearly as tolerant as this one and I'll apologise right now, on the spot to GoH if it was deemed by the majority that I was out of line in pulling up his behaviour.

He isn't being made an example of or lampooned. I don't want him to feel ousted or picked on, I literally felt enough was enough and that someone in the staff on the site (and not every AG member that perhaps had an axe to grind) spoke to him and gave him a bit of a warning to cease posting so much bizarre material.

I could provide examples, but frankly that isn't necessary!

If Barc0de is right and we should be more tolerant, then in a way I was stepping in as more of a brotherly (than fatherly) figure and saying 'Dude, you have to stop telling us your every move, your every thought and your every mistake with girls in an unedited tussle of hormones.' The whole 26yr old man chasing a local 13yr old girl thread weirded me out and had he been hunting down my 15yr old daughter my brotherly (and or fatherly) attention would have turned into a Mike Tyson type situation!

However, as stated previously we should really, really draw a line in the sand with this one. If anyone thinks I have been too harsh, then say it and I'll send him a belated apology of my own.

 

Well it sounds like he needs some close friends,don't know if he has any.Its always best to talk to someone when you have a problem.Also it looks like he has trouble fitting in.

 

Your avatar just gets better and better mate! Yeah, maybe but it really isn't like nobody tried. Most of the replies to his posts initally began with friendly banter, advice and concern. That's as it should be.

 

I don't think GoH ought to be blamed [that much] for that thread. That thread brought out the worst of everyone here. "Start dating fat chicks." Wtf?

 

Actually, re-reading that entire thread just reaffirmed my initial post for me

 

If you are left in any doubt what-so-ever as to the necessity of curbing certain content or perhaps someone having a 'friendly' word with GoH (and for that matter WHY he decided to leave), then have a read at the last thread he posted and tell me you would encourage such behaviour on any website:

I'm done with explaining myself now! We all have issues, we should all take a bit of care to appreciate and respond to others with curtosy and diploma, yet there comes a time when something needs done when the level of content slumps to the garbage below waste.

But to answer your question WDK, I wasn't suggesting anything wrong with 'em, just that GoH had some women issues and was given the advice to start dating fat chicks. Because they would, according to the poster, be easier to get.

 

In fact, it was just an example of how absurd the thread was.
