As true as that may be, I think that thread is one of many threads that perfectly illustrates the point Parris has made time and time again. That entire thread was just plain weird. So, I figured I'd pitch in... I mean why not? If everyone else is having a little fun, then so will I

BTW, thanks for not giving me an English lesson on the difference between advise and advice. I noticed my mistake AFTER I made that post, and there is no edit button in this forum so that mistake will just have to live on forever.

God no. AWS is NOT Canadian, he is if I remember correct from Texas in the bible belt, where a hodown is just like a presidential election. Lots of drinking , some fucking in the hey. And everybody is a Bush supporter, of course I am BSing just a bit. With lots irony, but all and all AWS is so much American, that if he was forced to get a tatoo of the Star bangled banner he would wear it with pride. And I have looked up some days ago, the Canadian spelling. And they still just have a tiny modified British English english dictionary. And it is just the young people who feels it is popular to write color instead of colour. Since in the dictionary they still have tons of British English words and spellings of them. And color is spelled colour. So to the young generation of Canada, you better shape up. And write the words correct according to your dictionary ! ! ! ;-).

Wooo there WDK, onto the pedantic threads of spelling, grammar and dictionaries you go! This here thread has taken up and died! However, it's an English dictionary (when it is British) and an American English dictionary (when it's American).

Well then, the Canadians has a Canadian English dictionary, which is a slightly modified British English dictionary.

Because I am who I am. And I hope AWS sees, that I am only joking when it comes to him. But AWS is an American.
