it should not , even more: T15K cannot have 14k but T15K has some other really sweet features that I would be really happy to have :icon_bigg

Actually I picked up a Japanese V1.5 PSP last week for £10.00. My previous PSP was purchased before I had really started to gain much interest in dev kits (yeah, I am very new to this whole scene).

I've downloaded XNA to my laptop and also bought "Windows Game Programming (Cough!) for Dummies". Well, you have to start somewhere and most of the time on these boards I feel out of my depths!

Hardware I was familiar with several months ago and could confidently say I knew a lot about suddenly became foreign, alien machines to me when I stumbled upon the dev scene! This must be a familiar feeling for noobs ;-)

What I'd love to do is get this Tool up and running as it should, then stop buying stuff for a while until I became proficiant enough in using them. That said, if I was offered (as Unclejun pointed out) a PSP dev kit I'd be really interested, those things look stunning!

Out of curiosity, I assume you programme on the PC and just USB over the material to the PSP? Stick the programmes onto the memory stick using a loader? Yeah? I should look at that... only had the PSP a few days and not really looked at anything for it yet. I know the 1.5 is the one to have though.

P.S. I am not known for taking the easy route. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing! :)

contrary to popular belief, the Ps2 and PSP devkits are unrelated. They just happened to be in a picture together at one time. They re not married or related in any way, the defamation has got to stop!:p

LOL - they are merely being mentioned in the same thread as you would cheese & wine or Burke & Hare, not because they are the same thing, but because they just fit so nicely together (for good or bad).

Speaking of which, does anyone have any images of PSP dev kits they would like to share at this point, in a hypothetical (I don't own this) manner of course? We might as well pass our time discussing other things in this thread whilst we wait for further developments from Unclejun and PA who are at the coal face of hard drive back up as we speak.
