Yep, I'd see lots of both. I know in particular because Bomberman 64 is one of my favorite games. However, Bomberman 64: The Second Attack was uncommon to see (only saw it a handful of times the two years I was there). I didn't pick it up because I remembered it getting pretty bad reviews.
I got the Kirby 64 sealed for $6 two years ago at Toys R Us. It's not very rare. I see it all the time, but it usually goes for ridiculous prices. Is Harvest Moon 64 rare? It's always expensive.
Not sure if it's really rare - it would actually turn up more frequently than Perfect Dark at the Gamestop where I used to work - but it's definitely uncommon, as the $25 price tag can vouch. If you're at all a fan of the series, however, it is imperative that you purchase it posthaste. I actually like it better than the current Gamecube/PS2/Gameboy Advance installments. Now if I could only find the SNES version...
Are you taking about the North American version? We actually have 7 sealed copies that we have been trying to get rid of for the last few years (Selling it at around $8 US).
I think it all depends on where you live. A lot of the games listed here today were at the Game Exhange in Texarkana, today.
the only game ive heard of that came with a rumble pack was starfox/lylat wars. would be interesting to see that mario pack. got any pics?
Starfox, wave race and super mario 64 are the first batch of the jap rumble pack versions. None are that expensive, however they are rare (in context of N64). As for pics, I don't have access to my copy now (uni), there are loads on the internet, including quite a few copies for sale if you're interested.
There is no mario 64 rumble pack boxed set. There is a rumble pak version of mario 64, but no boxed set. If there was i would have seen it by now as i have been collecting japanese N64 games for many many years & i have never heard mention of a boxed set & theres no mention of it on nintendo japans site.
sorry, mix-up with the term pack and box. To clear up my error, box refers to rumble versions with the extra hardware - like star fox. I just confused a box set version with the pack versions. Especially as when I got my copy it came with an rumble pak as part of a promotion. Apologies. Still, I'm guessing the rumble pack version is quite rare.
Yeah the rumble pak versions are harder to find than the non rumble versions. Luckily the boxes are different so they are easier to spot. Original Rumble version
you know i dont often see the mario kart 64 controller bundel for sale at all, and as for the rumble versions of mario 64 and wave race 64 rumble, they are suprisingly more rare, im guessing since they were made in small numbers, i do know the rumble version retains all the changes made to the U.S. version just wiht added rumble support, but then again really how many more copies can you sell of the same game just for having rumble featrue added, btw, how was the rumble on both games?
