Buyatari, thank you - not bad yourself ^_^ I would've had my NES Zelda cart signed back in 1996 but it had some scuff marks on it due to the wear and tear over the 20 years of usage. So I chose one of his other greats (Yoshi's Island). Yeah it seems Miyamoto been dating and drawing pictures with his signatures for quite sometime. But then sometimes he just signs his last name. I guess it depends on his mood that day  N64 Zelda dated: May 22, 2002 ( E3 ) Meeting Gunpei Yokoi was just outstanding. It was like meeting Einstein in the gaming world. I'll never forget that moment as long as I live ray:
Wow Herman, congratulations!!!!!! Those are some valuable items!!! And I don't mean just economically
You guys are making me hate my collection! The rarest thing I own is a Conker Live & Reloaded poster signed by Chris Seavor (Conker's voice actor) and the rarest game I own is Kirby's Dreamland 3.
I have a Japanese Metal Gear Solid signed by Hideo Kojima. He came to CEX one time. I have seen another for sale in there though, so I'm guessing a few people got him to sign their copies.
Got my hands on a copy of Summer Carnival '92: Recca for Famicom, don't know how rare it is, but th3 wiki states so.
It's pretty sought-after, but you will find offers any time. The only catch is the high price tag, that's also why I don't own it yet... I played it only once (on a Famicom, not emu) and it's goddamn amazing. I think it's well worth the money, at least for a Famicom/NES nut. The most amazing tech demo to exist for this platform! Next time I'm in Japan, I'll probably buy one. I heard Famicom Clubhouse is hoarding them :
The rarest thing I own is MGS3 Subsistence LE, which I guess isnt really that rare, which goes to show the lack of rare things I own
I have an Amiga CD32 system with the VERY RARE SX32 MKII attachment (with a CF to IDE and 4GB compact flash installed inside) running Workbench 3.1 and WHDload: I also have a shiny black painted, RGB modified, stereo knob, Power Pak + 4GB CF card, HES Unidapter, Famicom Disk Drive (with write mod - not pictured is the MGD1 and FDSloadr cable which lets me write my own FDS disks) NES system that I call, the "NES Disk System" My Magic Super Griffin is one of my most rare and treasured items: My Atari Flash Cart is also pretty rare: Another rare gem of mine is my Super Magic Drive Plus:
I remember seeing one of those on ebay way back that I was checking out to buy, but was too late.. and when I checked again saw it was sold for 35 US OMFG!! I think I kicked my own ass lol. It was probably you that won it
Surprisingly it actually wasn't me. I got mine in a trade, I traded Lunar which I got for 25 dollars and some other stuff but I also got a Sega Nomad in the trade. Shipping just happened to jack it up to 35 dollars.
Most rare part of my console games collection. =) Here more info: http://forums.arena.n-gage.com/nokia/board/message?board.id=2&thread.id=44830&page=1
I find the problem with the GD-R's is that no one can say if they are rare and worth anything until they are sold!
I had (and lost) the CD-ROM demo to Megamedia's Venice Under Glass. The company went under before the full game was released; and as far as I know, it is impossible to find the demo for download. (The only major sites hosting it were happypuppy.com, PC Gameworld's old servers, and demoland; all of which are no longer around.) Every hundered years a copy shows up on ebay, though. Don't blink, or you'll miss it! The rarest thing I own? Tomb Raider Collectible Card Game: all the major decks.
It seems to be a routine for Mr. Kojima to promote his games by making in-store appearances. He did it for MGS 3's release in the States in 2004. I showed up with my Premium Edition to have signed instead The MGS 2: The Trailer - I only picked up because i'm actually in the video  I got Mr. Kojima to sign the DVD trailer at E3 2001
