There's been a few reports about a certain PM from blazelord97.

This is a spambot, and as usual don't click links, and just delete the message. No need to report, "user" has been banned.

 

Spammers seem to have been increasing since the site moved..

Nah... it's pretty much same as ever. You just don't see the majority of it

 

We also have a bunch of broken stuff from the migration which doesnt help

 

I've encountered the spam. Will delete ASAP. Funny seeing how I didn't get a email LOL.

 

new name seems to be "dnn"

 

Got one from that user as well, I just reported it and deleted it.

 

Thanks for the reports guys, was getting them all through the night.

I've now banned dnn.

Yeah I read it. Got my attention right away. Big question mark. Made me question what was going on. So the question mark did the work it was suppose.

Usually it's a better idea to look at this section first before reporting.

 

I will keep that in mind should something like this happen again.

 

We're getting PM reports of user james sending spam PMs. This user has been banned. You do not need to report it.

And we're STILL getting reports of the other users! They were banned ages ago!

 

Im not sure if it can be done but is it possible to set a rule like a user with less than 20 posts can not send a PM.

 

Probably a 2 post requirement would surpass. However there's many users who have signed up not posted but just here to read.

I think a 2 post requirement would be fine. Those who genuinely want to PM someone will be doing so in response to a thread. They can simply...

1. Create an intro thread
2. Reply to the thread they're PMing the user about, saying they are going to PM them
