    No one, huh? :p
Info on the web is limited. Basically what I found is that Chinese girls expect you to marry them after the 2nd date Lol, but that's probably only in China mainland if you're a teacher on the countryside....

I hung out with a Korean girl for a few months. Very conservative and shy. Also a Christian. She was really cute and super nice but she went on a trip to Korea and when she came back... Didn't really wanna talk anymore.

Btw.... I got back together with my ex. She wanted me back and i'm a fool and said, "Sure!" hahaha Things have been going very well, so far.

Chinese are not religious / Christian at all in China, I think you'll likely find more of that among Chinese abroad than here. Koreans on the other hand..

And you don't have to marry them after the second date, or I'd have been married a multitude of times already haha.

Not really a relationship issue, more a asking out issue.

I'm 27 and I've been in and out of many relationships and usually I'm fine with asking girls out etc but a recent development has be stumped.

I started a new job 2 months ago and there's a girl I've got my eye on who is just, well, wow. I'm really fussy and it's not often that someone grabs my attention this way. Anyway in the beginning I noticed her catching my eye a few times.

Then a few weeks later I started off a twitter DM convo with her, just light hearted. That turned into the odd text now and again (usually initiated by me).

Last weekend I went out into town with a few work mates but she was in another bar with her out of work friends, I text her to tell her it was a bit boring and she kept trying to talk me into going to the place where she was so I did.

That was the first time I ever really spoke to her face to face which was nice. Anyway when I got home, I had a bit of dutch courage from the alcohol and I asked her if she wanted to go for a drink sometime, she replied by saying "why not as there's no harm in it" hardly over joyous but it's not a no I suppose.

So back at work this week I've heard little from her, I've had to initiate text conversations and keep them going, we work in seperate buildings but I was literally stood next to her today talking to someone else and she never even glanced in my direction or said anything. Yesterday I slipped the "going for a drink" thing into a text conversation but she didn't pick up on it and responded with something else instead.

I've been texting her again tonight but it's just idle chit chat about whats on TV etc.

The problem I'm having is that she's really nice to everyone and I think she might be a bit shy..can't work out if she's talking to me because she's too polite to do otherwise or there's an interest there and I just have to take the initiative and do something about it.

I don't wanna be pushy and rush it and also I don't think I could deal with the rejection right now.

Anyone have any tips/experience in such a situation?

She might be playing hard to get, ignore her for a little while, before you get into the friend zone. If you keep asking her out, you might seem a bit desperate. Plenty of over fishes in the ocean ;)

I don't know, this doesn't sound too good. If you don't feel like dealing with possible rejection at the moment, choose gate A and ignore her. You will not have been rejected and if she starts talking to you again then good, she maybe interested afterall. If you seek clarification, talk to her IN PERSON and see how she behaves. You might wanna ask her out and ask for a specific date and time of course.

But to be honest, to me as an outsider and just based on your text it doesn't sound like she's interested. When you brought up the 'drink' thing and she ignored it was a good indicator in my eyes.

Seems to me that you are doing all the work to keep the "relationship" afloat. I don't think she is interested, she may have been at some point but not anymore.

I'd give her some space. It should be pretty clear to her that you're interested because you keep texting her. If you give her a little time and don't text her for a day or two, if she's interested, she'll contact you. It does kinda suck having to initiate the conversation all the time.

I was in a similar situation. I was really diggin' this girl at work. And we were texting and what not, not really hanging out, but we'd talk at work and stuff. But I started getting feelings for her, which I tried to avoid because I didn't want to get involved with someone I worked so closely with, no matter how cool they were. Anyways, we talked about going to a show, and she had said she wanted to go, and I wanted to go, too. I didn't bring it up again, and I wasn't going to text her about it, but then out of the blue, she texted me and asked if I still wanted to go. We ending up going, having a great time, and have become really good friends, well, we're dating now so, yeah.

You've done your part, now let her make a move. If she doesn't, no sweat.

That's what I decided to do today. Just hang back, say nothing and see what comes of it.

I'm thinking she might be hesitant because I haven't moved down to the town I'm working in yet due to being on a hefty probabtion (6 months) but I should get my review in a few weeks which determine wether I move and keep my job.

She might be thinking that if I'm not gonna be around, why bother?

That's a lot of assumptions mate, if you have to work too hard to get a girl then something is probably off. Irrespective of where you live, if you wanna be with someone, you make it happen on both sides.

I hope you will have a positive outcome upon the end of your probation, that is indeed very long!!!

Yeah, even if she is not interested any more then this is a better way. Never make yourself look too needy by asking her out multiple times - always imagine what you'd feel like in the same situation. Speaking for myself, I quickly loose interest in a girl if she's too available or if I see that I "could have her" (at least for now) without any effort on my behalf. Many girls see it the same way, guess for many it's caused by the simple fact that there aren't too many men who would reject a girl anyway given she's not butt-ugly Lol.

I think i've probably painted her reaction as more negative than it actually was.

Anyway I'm not gonna worry about it too much. Got more important things to sort out...like securing my job :)

Yeah, man, nail down that job and just play it cool. Also, unbutton the top couple of buttons and show off a little chest hair, chicks dig it.

Twimfy - Be casual and cool, don't go in for the kill until its a dead certain thing, if it goes bad it makes your work life hell. The common room is awkward as fuck with me and my ex now because he haven't said a word to each other since we broke up.

lol! well, in my experience, a lot of chicks like a MAN. Someone that'll tell 'em to shut their mouths and put them in their place. And you gotta be showing chest hair to get away with that.

Awe come on! That might apply to a stupid whore who doesn't know any better what a real man is, but usually being confident about what you do/like/act is enough and that doesn't exclude nice and comforting behavior.
