Thanks for the offer I'm a wait until I get some dedicated chips in before I mess with the jasper anymore. I've already got a 6750 64mb nand read, but haven't done anything with it yet. If you could help with the Zephyr I appreciate that, as I haven't been able to get it to boot xell.

I'll install MIRC later today, and join up.

I just got in an X360 Glitchip, and am going to be trying the jasper tonight, so I'll get up with you in #libxenon Canerous1 if they help is still offered, as it still did not work for me.

Going to have one of my friends build a glitch chip for me since he's doing it for himself and it'll be convenient just to pay him back.

I'm on a Jasper with a 16 mb nand, hopefully I'll be able to get it working properly. If I get my hands on a Falcon, I'd like to help out with finding the sweet spot in terms of glitching a Falcon.

@Cancerous1, thanks for the link, it'll probably be useful.

    Hack Update

    What's new/fixed:
    * Falcon support.
    * Per hardware revision SMC patches (no more need for Jasper donor smc on fats).
    * Adding sanity check on 1BL key.
    * Adding support for donor CB on fats.
    * Debug pin on fats and slims.
    * New Xell with some bugs fixed.
    * Now using 270pf capacitor for slims, many reported it works better.

Finally got a phat console to work. It was a falcon using the x360 Glitchip, and it boots at or under 5 seconds EVERY time. Now to ust figure out why they zephyr and jasper I had where not working. I've got another falcon to test as well to make sure it wasn't just a fluke.

If you are trying to glitch a Jasper with large block nand (256 or 512MB) it doesn't seem to work properly.

I had two here with lost DVD drive keys and to get them to glitch I had to replace the NAND chip with a 16MB nand.

    This is the procedure:

1- dump 1000 blocks from your large block nand with the command:

    nandpro lpt:(usb:) -r512(-r256) original.bin 0 1000

    2- remove the NAND chip.

3- Move the resistors close to the NAND chip accordingly:

    (*)(*)(*)(*)( )(*)(*)( )(*)( ) <- Large block NAND
    (*)(*)(*)(*)( )(*)( )(*)( )(*) <- Small block NAND

4- Place an 16MB nand (preferably already pre-programmed with the Jasper glitch image. It doesn't need to be build from the console you're currently glitching.)

    5- let it run.

6- retrieve CPU key once it glitches

7- restore original NAND if desired. (You can leave the 16MB nand in if you intend to keep the unit glitched. Since I didn't I returned the original nand and used the CPU key to decrypt the dump I made on step 1)

    Edit:

Aaaaand.... If your PC's printer port is 3.3v based (mine is) you can make the JTAG cable as simple as this:

I didn't want to type this, that's why I underlined a part of what I wrote earlier but since you didn't understand, here it goes:

If you read the part I put underlined I mentioned that my PC printer port is 3.3v (same voltage as the Xillinx part from the glitch board) but most PCs are 5V and a bunch of diodes and resistors on gligli's schematic are being used to reduce the voltage to 3.3v at the JTAG input of the glitcher board.

With a multimeter. Damm I think its time for a guide on how to check traces/voltages with a multimeter on the 360. Can be a very helpful tool.

Also I posted this on xbh, but here is a fix I had when my console wasn't booting (no power on) or reading nand.

I am having a weird error programming my c-mods, they never vertify as the flash was sucsesful! SO I dont know if they work for glitching or not :(

what are you using to program it? the different voltages LPT ports can operate at have been giving some people grief with varying designs for jtag cables.

Mine is just straight wires and one 4,7k ohm resistor. Works a treat.

Lucky me with my 3.3v printer port on a Asus A8N motherboard...

By the way, frigging set the printer port on SPP mode.

That costs what ? 12 dollars, right ?

Importing it to Brazil would make it cost more than 50USD.
