Sorry I said I thought it wasn't the demo prototype version,you know after watching a few decent video on YouTube – I think it is the E31997 June demo, the English version of resident before; they scrapped and madeit official not just rumours.

You can notices the changes they have made in this Englishdemo already with censorship losing a lot of pints of blood from the Japaneseversion in this early demo, you could tell American was not taking any chanceswith this western version from the word go!

It looks fun to play and would love to play it when I can figure out how to change that magic zombie word pad file and to convert into an iso file?:dejection::very_drunk::biggrin-new:

 

What I don't get is if they have the original in order to make these modifications to it.......why don't they just release the original.....I'm pretty sure THAT will run on hardware ya think? I mean...that's like wanting to release the next version of the linux kernel and removing 99% of the code and botching up the rest when you have the vanilla kernel bumming around ready to go....

 

I don't get how the Japanese logo for playstation "inc" is on an english promo beta disc of resident evil 2 1.5, if it was american would this have the "american logo" by playstation when the game loads up?

 

Because it isn't an American disk, but rather a Japanese on that has been translated?

 

Well in Japan it isn't Resident Evil but Biohazard and even then the Japanese variants have always been in mostly English so translating wouldn't be to hard of a task if they can do what they have already shown should be a piece of cake.

 

I know the Japanese name was “biohazard” but do think this Japanese variant would have been a UK demo or Australian translation they originally corrected the code from?:smile-new:

 

They hacked the game to make it "English," the build is Japanese no ifs or buts about it.
