I'm with you mate... patient and further more willing to donate money for a "1.5 RElease" project... It's just too OFFICIAL to end like all the other RE 1.5 events (people of BioFlames will know what I'm talking about)!

I think the fact that they released a video is a sign that they're going to release the whole game. If they wanted to keep it to themselves, I should think that they wouldn't let anybody know that they had it so as to keep people from pestering them about it.

I really doubt any leak of this game will come from there.Taking a look at the contributors page gives me the feeling that they are not going to piss off all those industry contacts for the sake of releasing this game.

Still, The fact that new info is coming out gives me hope.

The prototype version of Biohazard 2 has been in a private collector's hands for all these years? So much for claims it was still locked away, never to see the light of day again! I remember a moderator on Capcom's very own message boards hinting at the possibility a copy might have escaped years back, though naturally few took any notice. Inflames and the like knew this day would come, but who really expected some amateur PlayStation site to be responsible for such a "megaton" announcement in videogames history? Adding further insult to injury, their evidence proving the final build was indeed 80% complete silences many people who've spent the last decade or so educating less aware fans without the help of direct access to source material. One last blow in the form of hoarding proves it won't be easy to anybody wanting this game, and predictably a value is due to rear its head before most ever get to experience this holy grail. When the inevitable finally does happen, I can only hope level-headed community members are there behind the scenes to ensure any release goes ahead as smooth and professionally as possible - for this I'd recommend Yakumo's services without hesitation.

Unlike recent leaking of code from Sonic Xtreme (or what existed from this barely-existent Saturn project, at least), my attention has been well and truly captured with the desire for any distribution to be executed with the same quality a game this substantial deserves, as it seems Biohazard 2 would definitely have lived up to its hype. I'm surely not the first person to question Capcom's motives in the first place when choosing against the release of such a great-looking product, and there is still a very good chance it may turn out to be less than impressive or maybe someone from the company will get involved to legally ruin any chance this highly sought-after title reaching a greater number of similarly enthusiastic... er... enthusiasts! Did someone just say "I told you so?" In a pattern that has seen Propeller Arena, Half Life, Sonic Xtreme and now Biohazard 2 all reach public access within the space of a few years, is there anything we can't have with enough patience? What is going to come next - Saturn Virtua Fighter 3 or perhaps even the 32-bit work-in-progress of Shenmue? Never say never, fellow believers!

A game boy version? Like GBA? Or the original gameboy? Now that would be something. I never heard of it.

BTW, wasn't there a RE 2 demo included in RE Directors Cut? Couldn't this just be the same thing? There doesn't seem like a lot to it in the video so I'm thinking it's just a demo. But I'm no RE fan.

No. A Playable demo has never been released, not at any time. What you're refering to was a disc with four vids of 1.5.

"All of the prototypes I have spent thousands of dollars on, hundreds of hours searching and talking to people, agreements I have made to not release this material... Hm yes I think I will let it all go for free."

    No.
