Resident Evil 1.5 - Playstation Museum Footage

I see that they have already deduced it is one of the earlier 1.5 builds ... even after 11 years I still find this as equally exciting as I did back when I was 13 :nod:

Well, the video is new but I´m skeptical that it comes from a recorded play of the beta build from the PS Museum staff.

To begin with, most of the parts showed in the video looks like an extended version of the vids. that Capcom gave away with Biohazard: Director´s cut. Even the paths taken by the player and actions are are similar with the official videos, although without some clever editing from Capcom.

My opinion: Hoax - They got the unedited promo video and are trying to get some fame around the whole RE1.5 mania to promote their site.

Also if the rumors were indeed truth, we would have some insights on the game plot. Not just a "open ended" review, wich tells what everybody already knows about the game.

So...until further(and more concrete/satsfying) news are reported, I´d take this video and infos with a grain of salt. '^^

BTW... newbie in posting here, but a long time lurker of this forum. Hats off to you guys, great site!

 

Damn the resident evil series was one of the best. I sure would love to see a release of 1.5 some day, however I dont believe it will ever surface..... which makes me sad :crying:
Has anybody ever come across any news of there even being a disc copy of RE 1.5?

Well, unless they can ignite the fire remotely by pressing a keyboard key, threats like that will never happen. I hardly doubt that people who does these threats can even use a lighter - way too dangerous, just like mommy said... :dance:

Nah, by what I´ve seen while I was lurking around, just some crazed Sonic fans.

They are not dangerous...unless someone finds a full build of Sonic Xtreme. That would be hell on earth, with a bunch of kids flooding the forums, screaming and begging for a release... :noooo:

Assembler, you say there's more than 1 copy, but in the hands of who????? I hope you aren't refering to Capcom.

 

Do you honestly think he'd tell you? I would hunt someone down if I was the theoretical holder of the game and someone released my info to the world.

Capcom doesn't count as holding a copy, since theirs will never see sunlight.

 

Capcom can have multiple copies of this but I don't think they're in the mood to share them :icon_bigg (although they could use this game as an extra in a future collector's edition of RE5).

Well, I think having news about the game, even videos or reviews, is a great thing. I believe we'll see this game someday, sooner or later.

This is just plain stupid. This people can't understand this is just a game. It'd be sad if there's no more info about the game because of those threats.

 

There were exclusive shots on www.bioflames.com from a later build but I believe their contact has long gone ... so the Playstation Museum's early build is infact the 2nd copy that we know of!

I think nothing more should be added.

Patience is a virtue, and now i'm starting to think positive that it's a matter of time.

And of course, my intention is not know of any "concrete" person that knows the game, that's not my business, and let people do the things their way quietly and stay calm is a relly good option.

After seeing the whole sonic xtreme problem from last time. I recommend anyone here to stay out of the joining forums to spam with msgs asking them to release it when we all know its not gonna happen and assembler is right another copy will turn up again. If sonic xtreme did why can't resident evil 1.5?
