######################
Now, you can effortlessly toggle Infinite Ammo as you please, toggle
debug commands at your own will drastically changing gameplay, or
try out the groundbreaking "Slow Motion/Shoot Time" mode! Seen
exclusively in BioHazard 3.5, a very early beta build of BioHazard
4 containing the somewhat famous, "HookMan", this mode, or item
rather acts as a Secondary Weapon. Using the Debug Menu from
within the Status Menu in-game, and adding an item with only
a Japanese symbol for the picture will allow you to "Equip"
the item as if it were a weapon! Back in-game, you will notice
a red bar at the top of the screen that will begin to rise.
Once it changes colors from red to green, press Z on the GCN
controller to activate "Slow Motion/Shoot Time" mode! For more
fun, activate the Debug Menu while in-game on the Action Screen!
While enabled, you will find pages of features that were used
by CAPCOM developers to iron out any remaining bugs in the graphics
engine, etc. Just to mention a few of the literally hundreds of
options that can be changed, "ENEMY NO ATTACK", "ATARI NO-HIT",
and "DBG NO DEATH" are some that can used to help explore the map a
little better, while others like "DBG OBJ SKELETON", "DBG SAT DISP"
and "DBG EAT DISP" were used solely for devs only to define boundaries
in hex. There are more fun options like "SPF CAMERA" that will freeze
the camera, or "SPF SCE" that disables cutscenes, aswell.

######################
These are the special controls set aside from regular commands to
trigger what is known as the "Debug Menu". From within the Debug Menu,
everything is pretty much strait-forward, though please be aware that alot
of the options and/or features/items will not work because the files'/code
necessary are not present in this particular build of Resident Evil 4.
In-Game:
Holding "L" and pressing "Start" will activate the In-Game Debug Menu.
Status Menu:
Simply entering the Status/Item Menu and pressing "Z" will actiavate a
special Debug Menu that will allow you to place items as you choose.

http://www.the-horror.com has a good article on this, though it appears
to be still in the works. Since it covers most of the commands and
more features than this NFO, it is deemed to be noteworthy and well
worth checking out.

This is only a demonstration/promotional build. Only the first two
Maps/Rooms are playable; the game ends once the villagers have heard
the Curch Bell and begin to possessively walk towards the smaller Church
in the village. If you thought that you had downloaded the full game
"in all it's pirated glory", think again. The D5C&MG Team are in no way
affiliated and/or associated with CAPCOM CO. and/or any of it's affiliates
and employees, however we still do not condone piracy of items that are still
available for purchase in your local retailer where ever you may live.
The Resident Evil 4 Trial Edition just so happened to be given out for
free of purchase to those who preordered the full game. ;)
If you do not know how to run a GCM image, please investigate installing
a Mod Chip on your own, or please visit the noteworthy site mentioned
below describing a Gamecube Memory Card exploit allowing you to run
backup -/+R/RW DVD media.

Burning the file is stright forward, You'll need a DVDRW and an application
called IMGBURN (Image Burn) which burns GCM's.

Danke! Now I've got something to play with over the weekend. I've got the cube, BBA, and old copy of PSO. Finally have to figure out how to use it to load stuff over the network.

UPDATE!: Figured out the pso stuff. Wasn't that hard. Problem though. Load the game, comes to the menu. Try to active "E3 Ver." the menu disappears and won't come back with Z. Once you get past the main menu the text rolls, comes to the last bit then stops loading. Tried tweaking the settings but it doesn't seem to work with this method. The audio also skips quite a bit in the menu when it reads out the title.

thats exactly what the e3 version flag does when its on. it disables all the debug menus.

set the room to 00 insted of 20, the jump point to 0 if it isnt already 0, set wide mode to on, and make sure the language is USA. then press start and play.

The unaltered version of the demo worked with the PSO loading method, I wonder why this one doesn't?

You mean the debug one or the original one?
I played the entire unaltered demo with the PSO streaming method...

Thanks :) Theres always fun and interesting stuff on the way, among them a Megaman gb proto, and a Smugglers Run PS2 beta from a few months before the PS2 launched. RE4 should be up sometime today or tomorrow, if its not up by the time I leave for the night. Keeps disconnecting me from my server hah.
