Resident Evil 4 Trial Edition : Debug Unlocked

I thought gcos could only load single executables off a sd card or boot dvd-r's? I've got all the bits and pieces necessary ( ar max, sd adapter etc ) apart from the time to mess around with it.

I actually bought a sd media launcher too as I guess datel are going to discontinue it if they can't make it work on the wii anymore. I never got round to buying an ar max pro & they are like hens teeth now.

I got some mini dvd-r's on order, but if I've got to tweak the laser then I doubt I'll ever bother.

Loading iso's off an sd card would be pretty cool though, if it's quick enough.

Is this still around somewhere? I downloaded the file about a year ago (I think it was from PTOP) but recently lost it after a full format of my laptop HDD. Just tried a torrent but no luck so far...

Can i play this from an emulator?

 

Well, as far as I know there isn't a decently "playable" Gamecube emulator around, but theoretically, yes.

 

I'll give it a try.

 

The gamecube emulator is quite nice actually, though not at at perfect. That said, you can get this to load, but is extremely slow and glitchy in game. Menu works nicely.

Hmm,I wonder if it works since the Wii can boot GC backups using a softmod,I shall give it a try.

 

I wanted to do the same, but my backuploader stopped working for some reason (see Wii Softmod Thread). Oh, and I burned the 140MB .gcm file to an empty DVD-R without patching or anything, but it should work right?

 

It works fine on the Wii's gamecube loader. I actually used fstfix before I burnt to be safe, to make it a full ISO. Dont know if it works without though. Be aware that many of the options freeze the game

I played it with wii gc back up launcher and it works lawlessly. Is it just me or were the graphics slightly better on the wii version?

 

this is the best demo with open debug i have ever played!!to play this demo i have moddet my gamecube by myself and it worked!!i played this demo every day for more than 2 hours to explore all features!!
the best things in this versions are the beta moves!!!
