People like this make the rest of us on the left look bad. Please remember folks, there are plenty of wacky leftists out there, but these people should not be seen to represent the whole. The same way that it's not correct to assume Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh speak for the whole right wing. There are certain people who see racism, sexism, or some other form of injustice in just about everything, and nothing is ever good enough for these people. The game could be about Melinqua the African sun god freeing the opressed people of color the world over from White Supermicist tyrrany and they'd still see something wrong with it. Sometimes they're right, but usually (as in this case) they tend to overeact. It would be racist if the black people were carrying spears and speaking some kind of sterotypical "ooga-booga" language, eating watermelon and sacrificing virgins to the giant gorilla volcano god. When we see a game that has all that then yes, that would be racist. Actually, if it were set in africa and everyone wasn't black, that would be racist. So please, pay no attention to these people. Let us hope they all go away.
Well, in most left-wing communist countries when someone said anything against the opinion of the ruling group/party he was considered a "counter revolutionary" and in the best of cases he would get a severe warning, but in most cases (specially in stalinist russia) the result was torture and death. My white cousin was executed on the street last year by 4 black males as part of a gang initiation but they're not being charged with a hate crime to "avoid racial tensions". Apparently, it's only a hate crime when whites kill blacks, even if it's only in a stupid video game.
Thats the irony of those laws: there cant be justice if one side gets more benefits than the other...
