And starfox adnventure too, but becos they were gold already, and in way to production.

It would be ofensive becos it is in Xbox, and it could take some sales of it. Plus conker was a complete floop in N64, and I doubt nintendo would release such an adult game in a console intended for kids.

Maybe in PSP, but sony has no rights on conker anyways.

Dude, did you ever played conker? That game has 10 times the amount of course words, sexual content and violence that GTA has.

Killing zombies?, thats one thing, bouncing on a sunflower`s big tits? that a WHOLE diferent one............

Never heard that before. You sure you don't have those backwards?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm sure you are talking about the Xbox version. Was only thinking about the N64 one.

  9. They N64 and Xbox versions of Conker are really not that different, although Conker and GTA are miles apart. GTA is still the more offensive of the two, portraying its violence, sexual themes, and profanity is a realistic setting. Conker, while laden with curse words, innuendo, and toilet humor, is really similar to a Farrelly brothers movie like There's Something About Mary than anything else - it's about the comedic value of these adult themes, not "Take the hooker to your car, make her give you your life back, then club her in the head."

Cahaz: I have no idea how the Blizzard poll went; I'm not a member of their newsletter and only read the article through a news site (Think it was The MagicBox). Either way, we still win, whichever they choose, right?

Make that three of us, at least.

And about Conker vs. GTA -
This time I agree with GreatSaintLouis. GTA is far more offensive than Conker, simply because violence and crime is way worse than simple immature humour or sexual content. Plus, Conker is a much better game, and I guess it's somehow more creative. Why people get scandalised over humour or sex (which are parts of our everyday lives) when there's crime and violence (which hopefully are not) too, I'll never understand.

But for the record, I am not precisely a fan of either of the games.

I mean that for the mainstreams society crime and gore-violence (GTA) is better than sex jokes and dirty words (conker)

Like they say in the south park movie "Its okay to make violent acts, as long as nobody says dirty words" :-D

Yup, in that you're right. That's what I was saying too.

About South Park - they repeat the same theme in "Good times with weapons", when Cartman has a "wardrobe malfunction".

"I guess parents don't care about violence as long as there's sex stuff"

    heh.
