Retro City Rampage DX - Limited Physical copy Vita release

YESSSSS, artificial rarity and scalpers hoarding copies to sell it 10x the original price! YES! Everything gamers and the developer's fans could ever want from a game that was released three months ago. I just hate when physical copies of games are affordable. This will look good on my shelf with my copy of US Neo Turf Masters and VGA graded amiibos.

The irony is being directed to the wrong person.

 

If you read the game producers comments on the PlayStation blog he had to put down his own personal money to produce these physical games, and never made much money from them if any money at all after production and staff costs, he done this release for the fans of the game.

With the PS4 he had no idea how many to print, he was going to make just 1,000 copies at first. He did not want to spend $1000's of his own money into it and people where not interested because they have the digital version.

The people who made a profit where the ebay scalpers.

 

Why do you think it will skyrocket any time soon?
I'm going for the fullset and I noticed that the games that are getting more expensive are just a few, most games are getting a bit cheaper than its launch prices.

Ah sorry, I thought you was writing about Vita games in general, not this specific one.

 

Yeah, only a handful of Vita titles will probably rise too drastically in price. I've got like a dozen games already and only have a Vita TV so only a fraction are playable unfortunately

 

I believe you mean the limited edition firefly game for vita?

 

Well, there's hotaru no nikki for one. But the Persona 4 "solid gold" edition is pretty uncommon, and stuff like the Ys Celceta Silver edition are still in big demand. The Limited edition for the first Neptunia re;birth game is insanely priced since it seems like Idea Factory only made like maybe 500 copies or something.

 

I just discovered that there will be 300 copies available after the preorders ships. Those are not additional 300 copies, it seems they have saved those 300 from the initial preorders.
