Man, you're working fast. Interesting game, certainly. And with Panty-Shots and racy CG, also quite attractive. I was never much of a fan of 3D fighting games, to tell you the truth. This one doesn't look bad for one of those, though. Nice game. Great work, as always.
A lot of Saturn fans don't rate Fighting Vipers because of Fighters Megamix. The thing is, Fighters Megamix looks awful texture wise, very unbalanced game play and well, always felt cheap to me. It is an amazing fan service game from Sega and great fun to play but as an overall package I don't think it's as good as Vipers or VF2 which it is based upon. Oh, it slows down like hell too! Yakumo
After 1 month away Retro Core SS is back with a new show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0qT9qTDw1I The official site version coming tomorrow. Yakumo
Nice! It was kinda hard to hear your voice over the sound of the game in some parts. Otherwise good show! That thing looks a bit like a platypus to me.
Yeah, I used a different editing program this time round. I'm still getting use to it. Notice that the show was in 16.9 as well? I did do a 1080p version but it looks just the same as blowing the 480p version up with a media player. You can't really do 1080p Saturn videos with out them looking a little turd. Yakumo
Let me know if you ever run over You Tube's time limit. I can host for you if you absolutely need to have an over 15 min episode. (generally I think YT allows up to 16 mins if it goes over) I sure plug you enough on my channel as it is
Yeah I figured But if you had a 20 min episode and it had to be 20 mins You have a place to put it. Alright well if that does happen let me know
I've re-uploaded Retro Core SS 16 again because there was an awful issue with the game audio being way too loud once stage 1's boss appeared. this has now been fixed as well as the aspect ratio being fixed back to 4:3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DE1ovIy3K8Q Yakumo
Yeah! Also: Keep 'em "short". People don't have much attention span these days, and more episodes is better than long episodes, IMO.
It's too long for me though. Retro Core suits more my expendable amount of time for something like a games show.
Well you don't have to watch it all at once. Notice my format few games, different segment, few more games, Different segment. I give stop points if people want to watch a little bit at a time. Ok I'll shut up now my show has 3 threads, I need let my man Yakumo have his one.
Retro Core used to be an hour or longer at one point but people tended to skip parts because it was too long. I feel the ideal lengh is 30 minutes. Yakumo
I think your longest non special was an hour and 46 mins. Yeah I know these things...before my first episode in may I had a long ass retrocoreathon.... and I STILL can't do your voice (yet ALMOST THERE)
This was the first episode I have seen and I really enjoyed it. Since it is my day off tomorrow, I will be catching up on previous episodes as well.
I loved watching your hour-long Retro Cores. It was like watching a feature film about games. I treated them just like feature films; I'd wrap myself up in a blanket and eat candy and stuff. I can understand why you've stopped doing that, though. Shooting, editing, and narrating an hour-long show about videogames takes a lot of time and effort, and you're probably busy enough as it is.
It took about 1 month to make those 1 hour hows. I can only make Retro Core when the wife and son are out of the hour because that's the only time it's quiet
