Huh. You were right, it does support the 3D controller. I wonder why it didn't work before. Anyway, it is way more fun with the 3D controller, and it was already really fun. The combination of the 3D controller + Saturn connected to my PVM via RGB = gaming bliss.
Yes, just writing the pages now. Give me 30 minutes. EDIT - That only took about 10 minutes. All it up and ready for viewing and with better image quality than YouTube
There's a guy over at NTSC-UK that has pug together a very impressive bit of kit for using classic RGB consoles on modern HD screens. The results are very impressing, just as good as a XRGB box at a faction of the price. Th screen shots he posted really did impress  I would like the images but I'm on the phone using a free version of the Mecury browser which has limited tags. Fantasic browser, in fact the best for iPhone. Renders every page I throw at it in PC format rather than the anoying mobile format that Safari keeps doing. Good if you are on a budget plan but annoying if you're not. Yakumo
Retro Core SS Vol 13 is out now and takes a look at Dezaemon 2 and many of it's home made shooters. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv-9C_mhCsY Official Site version coming in a day or two.
Another Retro Core SS out now. This week I take a look at Magic Knight Ray Earth - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGEcCV4Hy_Y Yakumo
Rayearth, man. I always wanted this game. I drooled at the pictures in imported Magazines in the 90s. I loved the anime - it was transmitted on TV when I was in junior high and high school. That being said, the latin american dub (of the Anime) was the shittiest dub ever made. The Working Designs dub of the game was like one hundred trillion times better, probably. The Spanish dub was actually made in Bolivia, I think - and it was translated by people who didn't know a word of Japanese OR what a Video Game was (They translated a scene where they ask Hikaru if she had ever played a video game as "Have you ever been on a Game Show on TV?") Man, I look at the style, the cinemas, and I feel like a teenager again. If I'd had the money and the means, this game would have made me buy a Saturn for it. Then again, if I'd known the Japanese I know today, the Japanese version would have been a lot cooler to have. Man, talk about things coming to late to one, damn it. It is, indeed, a gorgeous game.
According to a Dream I had last night Yakumo is really a black dude with a lip ring and works as a Barber and sounds nothing like he does in his videos. I know that's random...all my dreams are. Anyways off to check out the newest episode
Everyone knows Yakumo has a tongue stud. Duh. And he's not a barber, he's a hair stylist. Get it right.
