Yakuko-sama it has been an honour, being a part of this wonderful trip through memory lane. Such as Elektra Ainus became Electra Anus since if I remember correct then I was the person who called E.A. for Elektra Anus and you took it and used it :). And other stuff. Thanks man.

Greatest retro show ever, will be sorely missed. You've done a great service to the gaming community. Always came out of every show with a shopping list. Wouldn't be playing great classics like Elevator Action Returns without retrocore.

    Irreplaceable.

I agree with BahnNZ on what he said about Elevator Actions returns, and tons of other old classics. And loads of them are arcade classics. And now we are back with the shite show that censors itself, known as retroware. God damn it.

Yes, it is a sad day that Retro Core is now finally over. There won't be any 3rd series either. My life is now far too busy to produce the show any more even on a bi-monthly scale. But as they say, all good things must come to an end :crying:

Sad to see the show go once again, but you certainly picked a great final game to go out with. Loved the nostalgic look back at all the intro's from Retro-Core's past.

Thankfully you've produced a ton of volumes over the years, so theres always old Retro-Cores to go back and watch again.

Hats off to you for all the work you've put into the show. You're definitely a credit to true gamers, and the quality titles you reviewed always reflected that.

Glad to see the piece on Puchi Copter

It truly is a unique and fun game, one of my favorites. Ironically it did get released in the states under the name MiniCopter: Wii Adventure Flight or something like that. I did not want to wait for the localized release so I got the Japanese version. Sadly, the game seems to have been relegated to budget-shelf-filler like most Wii titles....except that it is actually good and few will give it a thought.

I'm sure I had another newer Retro Core thread. Oh well.
Just a heads up to let you know that the new Retro Core will be released on Thursday. It was meant to go out today but being an idiot I've deleted the closing credits so I'll have to make them again.

3 downloads will be available on 3 different servers so there shouldn't be much of a problem with downloading.

    Awesome man!
I always enjoyed downloading RetroCore. IIRC, you were doing reviews before it was cool to do reviews. These days, everyone and their brother reviews games, but few stack up to your video's.
    Can't wait.

Yakumo is the OG gameplay/commentary man.

I can't wait to watch this one. Can it be better than the shooter specials? Consider that a post-production challenge!

I modeled my Saturn You Tube Videos after Retro Core... but Yakumo is a bitch to do an impression of. All I could I get out was "Tate Mode"

It's Thursday so here is the all new Retro Core 2010 Sega Saturn Fighting Special!

    http://www.segagagadomain.com/RetroCorepage-main.htm

    !! NOW AVAILABLE FEATURING 65 GAMES !!

Total Running time = 2 hours 39 minutes

The show as a whole was very large in file size so to help with downloading, it has been split in to 5 parts. The files are recorded in the following format.

    Video: Xvid 720x480 29.97fps 1699kbps / Audio: MP3 44100Hz stereo 160kbps

Image quality in the native resolution is very good. I also played the files through my Xbox 360 at 1080p on a Toshiba 37inch LED screen and still got a pretty decent image.

    FILE INFORMATION

    Part 1 - File size : 581 MB - Duration : 43mn 24s
    Part 2 - File size : 499 MB - Duration : 37mn 19s
    Part 3 - File size : 418 MB - Duration : 31mn 15s
    Part 4 - File size : 624 MB - Duration : 46mn 37s
    Part 5 - File size : 008 MB - Duration : 00mn 51s

New Retro Core is always great, especially if it's a Saturn episode :)

I am about to dive into episode 3 of this summer special, and until now I can only say. It is a good show, and damn while talking about shitty games, has any one seen the word 5 hit super combo finish, look more like it is written shit super combo finish ? of course I am talking about Streetfighter The Movie game. Oh a little bit of information, Street Fighter Zero 2 (on the Saturn) if I remember correctly of course, was the version that had "Evil Ryu" in it too.
