Just finishing viewing the whole special, and I can only say this. That is an impressive feat you have done.
Ahhhh! Holy shit, I just got back from watching a meteor shower, hanging out with the lady on a blanket out away from town. And this is what I come back to? Tonight fucking rules. *cracks open a beer*
It's your accent your accent is near impossible to impersonate. When I try to impersonate it I sound like a scotsman with Downsyndrome Downloading these now.
This sounds awesome. I'm downloading it now and will probably watch it next week some time - I'm a bit busy right now. I'm looking forward to it.
I am enjoying it so far. I'm still on the 2d fighters and I'm amazed at the animation the Saturn could pull off. Maybe it could have handled SFIII.... Good Job as always
Hmmm my opinion about that , when it comes to SF3 ? If they utilised the 4 megabytes cart, maybe they could actually get it to work. Or they could perhaps even make a specific cart for it, with maybe some I don't know .. let us say some extra ram or roms perhaps ? I mean to my knowledge, if we do not take Neo Geo as the "ultimate 2D console" (for sure one of the most expensive ones without a doubt). Then I bet, it could actually be done on the saturn, but I honestly know shit when it comes to programming, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that the PSX could EVER pull an SF3 out of their arse, unless they really put the backend of the PSX with some far out expansion to convert SF3 on the PSX. But that is my opinion on the matter.
Finished the "series" tonight (been watching a part a night or so to stretch it out) and I've got to say: It's what I expected. Excellent! Kudos, Yakumo! Thanks for doing this. You're quite adept at putting the icing on my evening.
^ I just got onto part two. It reminds me of the times years ago when I used to lurk your site reading anything new you put up. Good work and thanks!
Hopefully I'll have time to watch them all very soon. Thanks very much for all the great work you put into these.
Just watched the first part (yeah, I know, about time I did) and it definitely kept me interested for the whole time, great work! And that second Dragonball game was the biggest WTF...
All new Retro Core! Now going under the title of Retro Core SS. Check it out here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6mFuroY9AA High quality versions will be available from my site soon. Yakumo
Yep, Saturn is what I know and what is always at hand. It's easier this way for me to make the show. No need to play stuff I've never played just to see how it is so I can comment on the game for the show.
It always worked out very well though I'm excited to see the new show. Sega Saturn's always interesting, I hope you'll cover the obscure and unknown titles rather than the obvious choices. Game Basic is a great start.
