COOL thanks a lot for that scan the_steadster. can't wait to get my copy of the magazine. My five minutes of stardom will be on show to everyone for ever. 10 years later down the pub - hey did you ever see my interview in GamesTM? (Pulls out the magazine completely laminated) Look, look, that's me :-D :smt043 Yakumo
Nice interview. It'd be nice if you could get a TV station to air the show. On a side note, it's so strange to see Yakumo being refered to as Mark Smith :smt043
Yeah, it would be great if the show was aired. Can't see it ever happening though. Then again, if the broadcast shite like GameZville on Sky One then why not my show on a cheap public access channel :-D Oh, yes, I noticed that my real name was used. Actually quite odd for me seeing that there too. Oh well, my hidden identity is now gone. Better get in to a disguise. :smt033 Yakumo (Mark Smith :smt083 )
Finally finished downloading the 2nd episode & i have to say i liked it as much as the 1st. More of the same please :smt023 more nintendo too Oh and get your ass to hard off we need another covert survelance of their goods. Hehe get the tusty (bag cam TM) Glad to see its shaping up nicely mate (still miss the music from the intro to the 1st retro core i like it better than the new ver)
I just watched the first for the first time. Nice work -- enjoyable., although I couldn't pay too much attention as I watched it at work. Was that a Seaman DC I saw in your flat, or just a clear-cased DC?
Ah, you mean when I did the wondermega feature? That's my super limited (only 1 in the world) Crystal black Sonic SC with XBOX style lights !! OK, it's something that I made 2 years ago :-D . Here it is in action. It will be coming soon mate. I was thinking of a Retro Arcade feature though before Hard Off. As for the new opening music I'll see what the general feeling is about it. If most people want the original back then I'll change it. Yakumo
Well i'm in the process of finishing downloading the shooter special, but i must say vol 2 was pretty good, it stayed focused like it should, and i really did like the segment where you compared the ports of art of fighting, i found it quite helpful in determining a good alternative to many of us who can't not afford or even be in reach of a neo geo(mostly for those who prefer to play it on the real deal) any way in short it was a pretty good second episode, can't wait to see more.
Just watched the 2nd episode, great show, great game selection and i'm now downloading the saturn shooter special :smt023
simply put bl**dy marvelous mate! :smt023 I do have one request though. would it be possible to put about two second blank before each feature so I can cut into chapters? I've converted both volume 1 and 2 into DVD+R and they looks great on big screen... :-D It's just bit pain in the back side to FWD to other part and often it causes my DVD player to drop the audio... cheers
Just finished the saturn shooter special, damn i never knew there were that many saturn shooters rayer:
Sorry mate. Tried that but it sort of looked quite odd with a black screen between sections. It looks better with no cuts. I know what you mean though about converting it to DVd for the big screen. using Nero wouldn't be that hard to section everything the way it is now though. Yep, the Saturn is home to more shooters than any other CD based system I belive. Yakumo
yea, well I understand what you mean. Trying auto chapter cut it will do in the middle of each segment and manually adjusting them is kind of tedious... oh well I can always burn it in a single movie file and watch from beiing to end... :-D good job and really impressive mate! :smt023 cheers
Just watched the Retrocore's!! Just wanna say gret job mate :smt023 You had me laughing all the way through with your comments! You'll never change .. no matter how long you live there! Good job.. now waiting for the 3rd Retrocore P.s Was nice to see Psycho fox making a appearence!
:smt023 Glad you liked it nocomply :smt023 i was going to bung them on to a DVD for you but now you've downloaded them .... oh well. Did you see the Saturn Shooting special? I'll send that over if you haven't. Yeah, Psycho Fox is a true classic. I nearly had Megapannel on the show. I bet you remember that one :-D I'm sure it will turn up some day on the show. As for Retro Core 3, expect it in early December. Yakumo
Was actually going to Suggest Megapanel! yeah.. put that on one, because its a brilliant game... but so little known about! many people probably missed it which is a shame. -even my MUM finished it! Yeah 90% got the special.. Good stuff Keep 'em coming!
Waaaah! :smt022 I've just discovered the thing I really didn't want to discover - port 21 or something must be bloked by my college firewall because none of those FTP sites work here! Aww, and I was going to joke about how I downloaded all three videos in half an hour. Arrrg, I guess I'll have to wait till I get broadband then (though I've been waiting 2 months now, and it appears there's a slight problem that our phone account has stopped existing, despite us still being able to use it. Don't ask). Don't suppose there'll be any http site serving them any time soon, or something on port 22 or any normal ports? I'm going to cry some more now...
easier ask others to send you DVD burn if Yakumo doesn't mind. :smt023 I burnt vol 2 into DVD+R and it works fine although am having bit of problem with Saturn Special - it encoded fine but the burnt DVD+RW doesn't work on my DVD player... :smt022 At leaset I used DVD+RW so I can reuse the disc... :smt009
Aarrg, but that will require money, and I'm a student, i.e. I have no money! I paid for lunch today all in 10 and 20 cent coins! I'm nearly down to just 5's now!
Zilog Jones, where do you live? I can put all of the stuff on to CD or DVD for you for a small cost to cover the media and postage. Yakumo
way to go Yakumo! :smt023 maybe we need people in each country to burn DVD/CD and send to other Assember members for the cost of blank disc and shipping within the country... :-D
