that thing mezmerizes everyone that touch it!

Very interesting, thx for the link.
I sense this console will make something to the industry, it will change something. i'm pretty sure it will be a hit too. Will nintendo rise again as he where in the snes era?

this one did something strange in me, positivly strange. :) paintball in a house anyone? :D kiddy, but who cares? that would be insanly cool.Close to Virtual reality games.

-Hey bro, Wanna do a deathmatch?

-Mmm..In my house or in yours?

Except the controller requires a sensor to work properly. I suppose you could go the complete "Laser Tag" route with sensor vests as the "attachment" to the controller. I swear, is Nintendo lacing these things with LSD before letting the press touch them? It seems that people become zombies after playing with the controllers...

fear is the worst enemy of innovation.

and it's not like if the concept was new, there's toys like those arleady, and there's paintball too, wich is more realistic, more dangerous and more...well, ''stainy''.

I hope for all your sake's it does deliver all these things you envisage, I would really hold off until the first *real* playtests before jumping any guns.

the whole thing is funny. People laugh at the hate it's received, but it has also been hailed as the holy grail of videogames way too much already.

I'm sure this innovation will keep nintendo well fed for this round. As long as they bring out good games to both areas of the market they will be set for a few more rounds. Right now, I think Nintendo is self contained, like Disney, they have a following that will support them for some time. THey just have to keep that support and expand.

let's say this, nintendo couldn't just make an evolution of the game cube, like sony and microsoft are doing with the ps3 and xbox360.

You know, apart of Metroid (which i really really love, but the "prime" versions could not convence me to buy another console, sorry) and Zelda (which looks awesome and innovative, but suffers as far as i heard from length - heck i LOVE Ocarina of Time, but WHY OH WHY SHIGERU did you only insert uhm...3+7 quests which i finished in one weeks time already????? *ARGH*) only the Resident Evil remakes (and maybe ethernal darkness, or F-Zero GX) could get me to buy one...damn you Nintendo, when will you finally realize that gamers actually GROW UP and want some MORE interesting games than POKEMON, MARIO, YOSHI, KIRBY (i h*te that one) & CO!!!!! *ARGH* :smt071 :smt071 :smt071. I truly hope that Nintendo will give its philosophy a nice "turnaround", getting Square-Enix, Konami back on the steps of the good ol' SNES days...damn they were just a great team...

well, squarenix and konami are very interested in the revo, so it's a start.

you know what i'd like to see on the revo? an old-school arcade game like konami or treasure can do, using the pad like you would use it to play a nes game. Something like Contra or Gradius. That would be so sweet.

Konami is actually doing a lot of development for Nintendo using their IP.

Mario Superstar Baseball was actually made by Konami for Nintendo, so it seems their relationship has improved.

Edit: Oops, my bad. Namco did Mario Baseball, Konami is doing DDR Mario Mix.

argh i want it for gamcube NOW!! >_<
Man this is going to get big for nintendo..its somewhat obvious that they needed to get a new design for the controller, if they want the revo to play all the nintendo console games too - which makes me think - what will they use? ZSNES for the SNES games? NESten for the NES? :D:D Its going to be a big hack-in machine, you'll see !!
