British games magazine. I'll have a flick through next months, see if its worth buying. If it is I'll scan in the relevant pages

Well its out tomorrow - If I'm in town I'll have a look at it. I'll probably end up buying it Even though I have absolutely no money (eek to car tax, insurance and MOT all in one month!), since I am really looking forward to the revolution.

great! i hope they'll reveal everything we want to know. It would be the perfect time to mesmerise the gamers, just before the 360's launch.

EDIT: Interesting little article taken from Joystiq.

i didn't feel the neeed to do another thread for this, but it's still interesting.

I think they can't do worse than the gamecube, because it doesn't directly compete with the 360 or ps3.

Consider the Edge article published today as a very good account of info we mostly know already. Though reading it made me even more excited about ideas and the controller's use is explained very clearly and positivley indeed. For example it seems that we won't have to move very far to have an effect on the screen. It seems a small movement of the wrist is sufficient to cover a large portion of the screen. Overall a very well written article, that even with no mention of games, gets me excited about the idea and future of gaming revolution style.

Especially as the same magazine is rather less positive about the 360, the revolution article comes across as positively glowing.

Yeah, that's what i wanted to post too. I just checked the EDGE website, and they're talking about it in the forum. Here's some quotes of the Article:

I wanted more, like the name of the machine, specs, or new pics. But i guess it would be still interesting to have a scan of it.

It looks like nintendo done it right, anyway.

    EDIT:

it seems that nintendo haven't showed everything yet, and that EDGE saw it, according to someone who got the mag:

i still wonder when they will do that now. :(

yeah, there's rumors of a new mario paint, on revo or ds.

I think this thread should be moved on the general discussion forum now.

I think I price annoncement around the 360 launch would be perfect. Might put lots of Japanese gamers in particular off forking out for the 360.

Edge are always enigmatic about these things, adds some prestige to their reports, but still I got more from their report than IGN or whatever. Love the cover BTW revolution indeed! I would advise all to buy that magazine as it comes with a good XO5 report and a TGS DVD which is quite nice, although unnecessary when you have already watched Yakumo's video. Still they have quite a bit of different footage.

I don't generally like edge as much as gamestm - they're a bit up themselves, whereas gamestm are a lot more down to earth. Edge get some very nice exclusives however, which make it worth picking up, and their reviews are pretty good. Anywhom, I should be picking it up tomorrow, but failing that I will have it on sunday when I go to work.

EDIT - What about a "real" interactive strangling game?? :D:D (Oh man this is getting me really low.... ^^; )
