i'll have to agree with soniciso on this one.. forza was a "little pain" but having a country that is know for copying/distrubting stuff having 1000 devkits... thats probably the real cause.
+1 I agree. The things on this site doesn't usually make it to the masses (Newsgroups, Bit Torrent). JSteam had the intension of making widespread releases of unreleased titles that came straight from PN.
Sadly they wont ever learn, I just hope they get hit by the next "ban" wave... You'll always find people with kits ready to leak things though :/
You might wanna recheck the logs then ITT: butthurt nerds worrying about losing exclusivity Any real, unbiased proof of bricking available?
Wasabifights set up a ustream the other day and filmed as he connected a working devkit to PartnerNet, turned it off, then back on to a RROD. I don't believe there is an actual recording of it, but I watched it happen over the stream. Not proof, I suppose, but it seems pretty concrete to me. :-\
He had just gotten it in the mail and wasn't sure whether or not it was going to be bricked. It was more of a "Hey, let's see what happens" type of thing.
So... why doesn't someone desolder R6T3, backup the nand and try it? Should be pretty safe as far as I'm concerned
