After reading that I cant stop feeling like you both look awfully scriptkiddie. I dont know what you do for a living or who you are for that matter, not trying to be personal here. But geesh.

I'm not a script kiddie I run sound and video for bands and also i mainly manage security on all the systems. I was simply speaking of ddos attack because I know thats the only thing those dumb kids understand. The story is in the past there was poor attacks to get things from me the public couldn't have ie unreleased SDK and private executeables intrusted in me, by those punks. They tried to hack me out of jelousy and I actually had one kid that actually worked for this website instructed to come to my house and steal it. He played it off as demoing the devkit I had when it was first made known to the public that an average joe had a hold of one. He tried to litterly physically steal it from my house and I told him I better not ever see him again. This is a true story and XeNoN.7 can vouch for this story because we were running together at the time. I wasn't being serious about the ddos attack I was trying to make him feel helpless like an idiot though.

There may be one yet. I have his IP and I know people that work for his ISP mostly family I could have them do something about it the legal way depending on how much evidence I collect. I'm getting as much info as I can atm. Most of these dumbasses have started popping up here on assembler as well. Just letting everyone know what kind of children these people are.

Damn, sounds pretty messed up. Starts making sense now.

What came out of the story, did you kick his ass out on the street? If he got physical you should sue his ass. Then again having such a kit makes it a bit problematic I guess.

Surely didnt expect such a backdrop to this.

Edit: I'm sad now, the internet gets more pathetic with each day passing by :( Just trying to comprehend that whole thing lol, physicaly trying to steal that.. only thing missing would be an armed robbery.

At first he tried to steal my software. I never let him come by again once I found out his plot to take the kit. He asked if he could borrow it I declined that night. Later XeNoN.7 got in an arguement with him and I got pulled in and the guy came clean. He is admin on se7ensins called Venomousfire. He took me out to eat and tried to get me to release CON information and I declined to that too. Then we went back to my house to "demo" the kit at which we had fun untill I learned his motives. Needless to say CON got leaked anyway by someone I trusted from se7ensins named haxallot. They are tyrants and they were involved in a lot of leaks here as well as selling private betas in mass copies ect ect.

The kid knew who I was already it made me feel kind of angry that he would underestimate me when the reason he was trying to hack me was because he knew me as a popular modder and that I was fairly fluent in defense against internet attacks. It was insult to my intelligence, i.e. my ego got the best of me.

Agreed! This is the best you can do with such low life (and intelligence) scum.

It works in both the virtual world and real life. Hah, I still remember that dumbass I started to avoid, he once saw me sitting in a bus, that took a 5 Minute break. Didnt took him long to get in and try to chat me up again. I just looked at him all weird, didnt say a fucking word or made any expression. He got REALLY fucking confused, nervous and very aggressive. Obviously he couldnt do anything though, he got so mad that when going out he punched the bus windows and made an ass out of himself haha.

So funny. Needless to say that was the last time I ever had to put up with him

This kind of people like attention. Without that they are nothing.

I just ignore them. And yes, works in real life as well.

This is starting to sound scary, if all these kids keep trying to get their hands of something of yours, they might try to break in...I know many members here aren't pro violence, but if I were you I'd invest in a gun of some sort...you never know what someone will do if they want something.

The legality of the whole SDK thing is irrelevant, if some creep busts into your house, you have every right to give him a beatdown. If you live in a country where its hard to get a gun or you have something against them, a nice aluminum bat to the face will give them a message as well.

This is all hypothetical though, I hope none of those losers tries to do anything like that.

    If you really want to get rid of them, do it the programmers way. Mock up something that looks legit, bind a payload to it, and give it to them. Then, relish the silence as they go offline due to the HD slowly killing itself. (^_^);

The severity of the situation isn't that bad. I doubt they would try to break in besides to my knowledge the only person from that sack-o-shit website in reach of my house is venomousfire and that guy is a skinny geeky dude that I would demolish. Its just been internet attacks that people really try to do to me. I keep all my private beta's and apps on a seperate disc outside of my computer for this reason so I am secure, its just the annoyance problem.

This isn't actually true everywhere, at least in America. Depending on what state you're in, the law may require you to retreat in the face of a home invader (look up "castle doctrine" vs. "duty to retreat") before using deadly force, which a beatdown would likely qualify as. The law often also restricts the allowable use of deadly force to life-and-death situations, not defending your property. Though not everywhere - in Texas I think it was actually found legal to shoot a repo man trying to make off with your car in the driveway :rambo:
(EDIT: yeah, found it: this is the link)

This has been your pointless trivia of the day

Id also invest in a lockup to keep your kit in unless you use it often in the event anyone does break in
