Oh really? I was a moderator there and I stepped down because the other moderators were jelous that XeNoN.7 and I had recieved moderator for being there a short time. I recieved moderator because of my extensive knowledge in development and because I was researching with XeNoN.7 the ins and outs of Halo 3. They started to start fights and kept egging us on to release con research (for the record that is what everyone uses now for gamesave resigning and it was made public because haxallot had stolen the code from a person XeNoN.7 and I were working with) and I gave haxallot full privilages and he screwed me over and stole the code from a friend of mine. After that XeNoN.7 and I left. Thats why you are able to resign gamesaves now . Venomous fire stepped in to take our place after we left. Your logic does not stand. You doubt a moderator of a corrupt website would steal something from me? Where is your logic in that. So what I made this all up? The man took me to dinner tried to get con research and kept asking me to give him a con app and that XeNoN.7 wouldn't know and he asked to borrow the kit. From a conversation later that night Venomousfire argueing with XeNoN.7 I got brought into he admitted to trying to take the research because we were being selfish when infact we were trying to protect the Live service with XeNoN.7's own research. So your telling me that because a -new- administrator could never do something bad? A fellow hacker who was there was banned for being openly gay and everyone there has stolen things from everyone who has created something spectacular and didn't want to share. Please eleaberate on why you would think that a "administrator" aka everyday person with board power would not try to steal things? I used to be a moderator there and knew acidreign. He was the administrator of the website and did nothing to contain these incedents. I invited the man to my house on a bases he would test everything going on with the development of Halo 3 research and he openly admitted to trying to take it as well as down talk me into releasing it just for him. He turned on us "for the good of the people to further hacking" when he admitted if I gave it to him he would keep it to himself. Those people are just out for themeselves and are also responsible for SDK's getting leaked as well as selling beta's from here.

 

Well, I'm not taking anyone's side in this matter. You don't have any proof that your story is 100% accurate, and neither does he. However, if you're going to create or help work on a tool alot of people want and would really love it if it was released, but you wave it in their faces, someone is going to try to take it. People can say they wont all they can, or that it's wrong, blah blah. I guarantee if anyone was within reach of the software, they would at least try to copy something to a flash drive. However, trying to walk out with hardware is just stupid.

 

I can give you a facial description of the guy, Tell you where he goes to school, What kind of car he drives and more. I don't see why anyone would be fighting this. I'm not going to fight for your beliefs but to say my story isn't 100% accurate leads me to question where you came to that conclusion and to question and why you would try to justify the theft of software. If you don't believe me I can get atleast 9 people in here backing me from that very website. I can swear to you on the life of my own mother I did not fabricate this story and I didn't wave software infront of anyone. Infact where haxallot stole the code from was a website that we were partners with in sharing a server based resigning service free of charge. They took advantage of that as well.

To add to this, if you're in a bathroom, and a home invader comes in, you can attack them in the bathroom(at least where I'm from), so if someone ever broke into my house, I'd beat their ass, drag them into a bathroom, beat their ass some more, shit on them, then call the cops.

 

Any idea why they are targeting us at this point? The band has been broken up for months and nothing new has come out of either of our hands (with the exception of the little after patch exploit I found with gamertags but they managed to get their grubby hands on that too).

 

As was said I think it is your bravado. Perhaps you are that much better than they are at what you do. If I were you I'd ask a mod to have this whole thread deleted. I get what you are saying about talking about your day but what do you think a thread like this does to a person you are talking about? The way to make it "go away" is just to ignore and not provoke. Share your personal info like where you live etc with only people you know and trust and if you have something people want don't let them know you have it. Don't brag about it.

Don't talk about them here where it might be seen as bragging or anywhere else where it might be read for that matter. You are just adding fuel to the fire. Don't egg them on or call them names or belittle them. Pretty much the same as in real life. It is an ego thing you said and I get that too but if you really want it to go away you can.

If you want to talk about it looking for advice then be general and limit it to the point. Don't use user names or real names that can be found in a search engine and don't belittle anyone in public or to their face for that matter.

If you REALLY want to end this (which I don't believe you do) that is.

 

Sondow, with fame comes people who are jealous. Look at celebrities and people who are making something for themselves. As for the state of Texas self-defense law, it's why I keep a baseball bat near my workstation, seeing as houses get broken into constantly around here. The last 3 days i've had people knocking on my door and running off, and hearing people near my window.

Shit, I had a similar situation with Wave invites.

Got an account from a friend who also got me into Gmail back in early 2004 when it was a closed beta.

Somehow one of my email accounts got into some site's thread, and suddenly an avalanche of badly written emails from fucks knows who got into my inbox, all asking in either lame 133t or crappy engrish to get an invite.

Even nowadays when getting a wave account is as easy as Lohan I still get a couple anonymous emails begging for an invite.

Anyways, next time do as I did: dont feed the troll and just ignore it
