yeah I remember playing a demo of it back in the day - I wasn't too happy with the result as I had had great expectations of what could have been (it's my favourite genre by far) anyway - awesome thread, thanks for the work you're putting into this segafreak.

I was planned on scanning the exact pages Druid II posted, as there's no need to post the same thing twice, here's an alternate scan from Mean Machines SEGA. Could be PSX screens if you read the text..

    keep em' coming!! lol

it's funny but flicking through all these titles reminds of how similar the Saturn and Dreamcast were with a flood of 'unreleased' games announced for them both. I mean not just 3 or 4 -but there seems to be a mountain of them!

SegaFreak.NL - Do you have any of these unreleased titles for the Saturn? I'm not after any - don't worry.... I'm just curious to know if any got out of the bag, so to speak.

The market for unreleased Saturn games is very very small. I've been actively (very actively) looking for them for roughly two years now and there's only a couple of them I was able to track down.

The unreleased games I posses aren't the ones listed here. Of the scans I did so far the only one that springs to mind is Bedlam, which I know is owned by someone I talked with.

There's a couple of others out there but I can't really talk about them (I was asked to do so). But I can tell there's isn't a scan of them in this topic yet.

I am guessing a lot of those are Playstation screenshots with "Coming to the Saturn!" type articles written when either release was rumoured or a Saturn version was on a future release list, intended to be ported.

I bet many of them never even saw a Saturn dev kit.

Ah Namcos famous, "We're committed to developing for the Saturn. What's that Sony? A big bundle of cash, don't mind if I do. Saturn? What's that then?"

They could have ported Starblade just to rub it in.

Well, but what are the chances of most of the prototypes of surface on the net?

Saturn prototypes seem to have a very low chance of coming up on the net. On reason is that the dev kit harddrives failed and destroyed the game data resulting in many being lost and the same goes with the computers. Another is a lot were talked about and never even reached a dev kit as Taucias said. The ones that have withstood the test of time are really hard to come by and since there are ver few copies of each they are high in value and their owners don't want to devalue them by releasing them. The ones that are still in company hands are hard to get and will never see the light of day until something happens like the company goes under

No doubt taken from the exact same video that I had of the game running. Man, it's so nostalgic to see them shots. The game was so early in development that some models were wire frame. There was also an overhead view as well that Mean machines Sega never showed.
