Just so the sale is clear raylyd, did you duplicate the discs? The GD-R handwriting looks similar to the writing on your handle / site name label. I remember reading about you wanting to burn a copy of Hellgate for personal use which you didn't intend to sell - I'm not having a stab at you nor am I trying to trash your sale by the way, I just want to clear things up so pople know if these are originals or reproductions, especially after the PayPal mess you had with Shenmue on eBay.

Good luck with the sale though.

hehe Raylyd I'm not saying it isn't the last of your stuff nor am I preventing you from selling them (yet) and my wish for you to have good luck with the sale is sincere, but are they reproductions yes or no? As the handwriting is rather similar and the price is kind of low.

other shenmue is a backup of it still on a gd-r though.

 

I wouldn't be so concerned about whether the handwriting looks like the sig, but Hellgate wasn't made by Sega so the discs shouldn't have the same handwriting!

If they're copies, it's against the rules to sell them here. However, giving them away as discs to test the System Disc would be acceptable. As such, I'd suggest that the price is a bit high.

My friend's after a NES - would grab it but the postage kills it for me, unfortunately. (You should try parcel2go or myhermes - much cheaper ;-) )

Just a heads up mate - your price for the CD32 is way over the top. The same set sold last week on eBay boxed for £60. Another system with 17 games sold for less. And the pads - well, one sold for £24 which is a lot, and a pair failed to sell for £50. No way they're worth £50 a pop.

I might have been interested in a boxed CD32 but there's no way I'm going anywhere near that high, sorry.

That is true Cyantist but a reproduction is a reproduction nontheless and the site does not allow bootlegs. I would personally allow them to be included in the sale provided they said reproduction in big fuck off letters and had no monetary value attributed to them, though ASSEMbler or another mod may see things diffrently. Also raylyd if you're going to keep listing items can you keep it to the one thread please, I've had to merge 4 threads already. Taking over the marketplace is unfair to the other users.

So you were selling duplicates of the Shenmue beta on ebay (your ebay history confirmed it) and not indicating that they were copies? That's basically what I asked you at the time, and as I recall you denied it.

Dubious IMO, and at the least, worthy of an explanation.

 

So is at least 1 Shenmue GD-R set original? Can you proove it somehow? I'm interested, but only if it's original stuff

 

I can prove one set is original as he bought it from me. The set that has the label on the front with the 0.400 is the set I sold him. It is absolutely 100% original and verified. The other set I have no information on....

 

If they're shrinkwrapped you'd have to find whores like myself who are fascinated by the idea of preserving history as best as they can. One day museums might actually take this sort of "hobby" seriously and start hoarding everything.

I also couldn't afford an entire cakebox of them in all likelyhood.

Whats the going rate? $500?

 

raylyd I just noticed your HKT-0910 SYSTEM-DISC 2 is a different version to mine.

Mine is 670-13613B, yours is 670-13613C hmm... wonder what the difference is, I'm quasi-interested again now, well I was until I noticed you edited the OP and doubled the price from £190 to £350 :O I'm skint for 2-4 weeks now anyway though so

Did you alter the clones yet to clearly state in big letters that they are reproductions? Also Hellgate would constitute a reproduction as it was home burned and the Sonic E3 demo looks like your handwriting too.
