Yeah, photocopies of service manuals are never good. That's why I'm glad I didn't throw huge piles of cash at them. They'll still have some useful items, though. Bock is Omar on ASSEMbler, omp
I have scanned the Sega Saturn Manuals I have done them in PDF 600dpi A4 section is B/W A3 schematics in grey. Tiffs 600dpi b/w A4 and A3. Now these are being RE-DONE due to some issue's some guys have over at SegaSaturnUk, so I have sent them to another fellow in Australia to have a crack at. It has to be remembered these are COPIES of the original manual NOT THE original manual. Anyway here we go PDFs A4 Section https://www.dropbox.com/s/0mzue75b6wyluya/Sega%20Saturn%20%28PAL%29%20No.013-1%20issued%20june%201995%20part%201%20A4%20size.pdf A3 Schematics https://www.dropbox.com/s/d4mkxd7p9...13-1 issued june 1995 part 2 of 2 A3 size.pdf Tiffs A4 Section https://www.dropbox.com/s/2r5xx2n5a...13-1 issued june 1995 part 1 of 2 A4 size.tif A3 Schematics Section https://www.dropbox.com/s/awxdma4vj...13-1 issued june 1995 part 2 of 2 A3 size.tif So I guess if you don't like them, for the other fellow (RetroJunkie) to re-scan them.
How clean they would be i guess. Once i post it in the morning i no longer care. I think my mistake was volunteering for a forum i didn't know. Also i have never scanned and uploaded before (i have of course scanned just not uploaded) so i was learning and may have rocked the boat with that. They may have been thinking "oh great, here we go..... Grandads on the computer". I haven't even read any of these manuals yet lol! I have also uploaded the tifs for the master system. They can be found on the smspower site. Yet to join tge pdfs up but i am too tired.
Geez, I don't know. It looks like a damn good copy given the quality of the originals - especially with the circuit board diagrams. They look like they must have been pretty bad, given how clear everything else in your scans is.
The board scans arent even that important. The schematics and the rest are completely readable. I have worked from far worse.
Have uploaded the Sega Master System 2 and Game Gear VA1 service manuals on SMSpower http://www.smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=74018#74018 These guys are doing a great job of it on their Wiki!
Hahaha, I think they need some more blue on their site. Not enough blue. Definitely needs more blue. Those scans are FANTASTIC! :congratulatory: Thanks again for the work you are doing on these!
I've had a go at scanning in the Saturn manual, I don't think mine will be any better than Omps though! I tried a few different settings, stuck them in folders TIFFs and PDFs - I'll have to upload from work tomorrow. Then you guys can fight it out amongst yourselves :encouragement:
If anyone can point the Saturn folk to here this is where the link is - Sega Saturn Service Manual (PAL) [VA0] [June 1995].zip It's a solid 700MB, but you get all the attempts, few different settings, etc. They should make Omps looks even better! :biggrin-new:
I just had a quick peak at the forums. I really can't believe some of the shit one person was crapping on about. I think you done a top job with what you had omp.
Just an update chaps. I have been scanning at work, but my micro-mini-Nana is visiting from New Zealand so I have been spending time with her (last time I saw her was 7 years ago). Scanned and to be uploaded Game Gear TV adaptor MD2/Gen2 VA0 MD2/Gen2 VA1 MD2 Supplemental Might be after this weekend as I am going up to the Aunties on the weekend for a Hangi! YUM! To BE scanned IC list Mega CD model 1 (this will be fun as it is sizeable) Mega CD2 and it's supplement 32X and it's supplements
Actually I said there would be a fire in your kitchen.... Or did I see world exploding as well? Either or.... I have FTP'ed before with my XBOX, but I didn't feel comfortable delving into a strangers computer. All's well that ends well? I have just moved onto the next lot. Be thankful though as some of the GG manual is missing as the page was initially copied cock-eyed.
