Sequent's PlayStation Collection

Hi. I hadn't heard about the Australian Crisis Core bundle. The Australian bundles tend to be just a standard overseas colour with the game packaged in (like the God of War bundle, which was a standard silver PSP with the game, rather than the cool red and marked version that the US is getting, which incidently is released soon).

I still haven't found a satin silver slimline stand, so if you can find a new one, PM me and we'll sort it out.

Not too many collection developments lately. I went through all my issues of EDGE magazine and am now hunting down all PS2 games with a rating of 8 or above. Got about 20 of them in the last month or two, and about 40 to go. Other than that, I'm starting to collect the huge number of new original coloured and limited memory cards for PS and PS2 (got about 25 to date, and about 15 to go), and am trying to collect all the original accessories that launched with the PS and PS2, and I'm most of the way through that. the MGS4 limited edition comes out in a couple of weeks, and I've got one of those pre-ordered.

Oh on the contrary.
It's the exact same as the US bundle. Same box, console.etc according to the photos and documentation I have seen.

I'm curious as to whether or not it's included in the 77,777 consoles or not.

All you need now is a midnight blue PSX. It's collection's like these that deserve to have them.

He's already got the Midnight Blue PSX. What he needs is the Spider-Man PSP Bundle, which I have for sell. HeeHee.

as a fan of yellow things i'm impressed you managed to find that ps2.

i just found one on craigslist but i'm not sure what to offer.

 

Looks like I've finally found a Snow White NTSC/U PS2 to complete my set of European Automotive colours. Excellent.

Yeah, I got the original Asian (Chinese) limited edition version of that PS2 colour, so won't bother with the Japanese version.

 

Haven't posted (or indeed been around) in ages, so a little update (no pictures yet). I got my NTSC U/C Snow White PS2, which completes the set of the European Automobile Color Collection. Also got a Blue PSP version, to finish off all the PSP-2000 colors. Have ordered the three different colors for the new PSP-3000 series, which should arrive soon. Also almost finished my set of new orginial Japanese launch PS1 accessories

Not much else going on, I've been spending most of my time preparing my rally motorbike for the 2009 Australasian Safari Rally, like a mini-version of the Dakar Rally.

Are you sure that the 10million PSX only there 100 units?
I´ve the Sony congrats card (or that believes), and i see 1000 number written. Anyone can translate it?

 

It says "1000万台ありがとう!" / "1000-man utena arigatou" which means "thanks for 10.000.000 machines (consoles)".
The 1000 is due to the Japanese counting system, they say like one "man" for 1x 10.000. So 1000 man (1000x10.000) are 10.000.000.

After what I understand, Sony tells you just how great it is that PlayStation sells so well and that you are the elected happy guy who is receiving a special made Playstation. In the end they're saying like "hail to more playstation success in the future" and that's it basically. To be honest, there are about 40 kanjis in this text that I didn't know untill now, so I'd better not try to entirely translate it Maybe with the given text somebody more advanced in Japanese could give it a try.

There's definitely nothing mentioned about the numbers/grade of limitation though.

 

Just a small update before Christmas. Got a couple of new PS3 accessories (bluetooth headset and dual shock keypad) and two new limited edition PSPs (Final Fantasy Dissidia 20th anniversary edition and Gundam vs. Gundam limited edition).

In other news, I'm going to off-load all my dev stuff early in the new year, hopefully in as few lots as possible. I'll post more in the for sale thread when the time comes.

First a few accessories (Silver dual shock, bluetooth headset, PSP case and finally the silver PS2 slimline vertical stand.



Next a couple of new limited edition PSPs (Gundam and Final Fantasy).



And finally I'm continuing to grow my PS2 game collection. Almost have every game rated 8 or above in EDGE magazine, plus a few others that I like.



Next on the "to get" list are the Biohazard 5 and Yakuza 3 limited edition PS3s plus the new bright red and blue Asian region PSPs, so it's going to be an expensive couple of months.
