Yakumo a echeack is just like a normal check as in it will take a few days to clear. So I doubt that you will have that money until it does. eCheacks are when people with paypal dont have credit cards and its linked to their bank account. Payment is not instant as it would be via a credit card. I had mine set up that way for a time. I didnt know if you knew that or not so I figured I would tell you, sorry if you already did. Good luck on getting it all worked out.

$35 just sent to Yakumo via paypal. Im sure we have enough by now but this is a good opportunity for assembler to take donations :)

Kevin if you need any help with the site or vbulletin I know a bit, Feel free to ask me any questions.

Definitely get the "forever" license. It makes it so you can run the software FOREVER, but in 1 year your updates will run out. Just gotta pay a small fee then to get updates for another year.

Whatever we get goes into immediate improvement, and whatever penalties they are trying to make me pay....

While we're on the topic, just out of curiosity... how much bandwidth does this site pull?

Who is the web designer? Is he/she registered on this forum? I'd be interested to know who is trying to disrupt some of my in progress buys...

Everyone should back up their PM's just incase the server goes down, Save em all as XML using the forum software at the bottom right of the PM page.

We had 38,340,430 ( yes 38 million ) visits last year in an 11 month period (site was started mid feb)

We average 30 gigs a month in transfer for text alone.

The site is read intensive. 90% of the users lurk and read.

    Wow, that's a lot o_O

And in case you didn't realise this, the rest of forum is still accessible. Look what happens when you go to this:
    http://assemblergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32

I realised that on my user CP it's subscribed me to pretty much every thread I've posted in, and I tried going to one - and it worked! I'm sure Google links and whatnot will still work as well.

BTW, if the site goes back to PHPBB will it have the old style?

    Kevin,

I'm going to send it to your PO Box from which you sent me some hardware from last year. Do you still use that PO BOx or do you use a different one?

Let me know by 5:30pm our time by saying yes or no, so that I can send the donation out tonight. You haven't replied to my PM yet.

    -the address is listed madhatter
