It's a Korean online game sort of like the King Of Fighters one but featuring Shenmue. I'm not too sure if AM2 official made this one. As far as I know there's only a Korean version. Yakumo
Yeah, it was a Korean only effort produced by Playmore I belive. I've never seen it going butthere were many pictures of it. Try a google search. Yakumo
It's probably best that it doesn't come out in English. Obviously the series apparently hasn't appealed to the Engish market (a travesty indeed), so why bother spending the time/resources to localize it. I'd just like to see a proper Shenmue III so I can die a happy man.
It's Korean-developed, but apparently Yu had some say in what happened to it. There is rumor that it will hit Japan as well... not that they've really eaten up Shenmue, but their online PC market is rather virgin compared to the US.
A friend of mine who's going to China next year is going to send me the Chinese version of Shenmue Online.

Ive gotten JP FFXI Installed and registered before, a few Chinese betas, the wierd Sims-Motorcycle game from Square, PSOBB, and a few other things installed before. Never heard of KoF online though, i might give it a shot if i can find it.
You can usually install that stuff as long as you install the languages IME, keep that locale as your default locale, and set that local to your default langauge for non-Unicode programs. Worked for PSO: Blue Burst... they really didn't want white people playing that. Anyways, if it's in Japanese, I'll download/buy it... no way I'm going to fumble through any Korean/Chinese shit.
Yeah. I can't comment on the gameplay due to the quality of the video (and I'm sure the players probably suck too) but the editing of the video is pretty fucking cool, I must say.

What platform is it going to be released for? PC? Shen-mue is not the kind of game that I'd like to play on a PC. It needs a damn controller..one with a VMU for that matter :banghead:
