Everywhere else, maybe. But it all comes down to this: Are employers discriminating against women, or do the choices women make effect their pay? Sorry if I misunderstood your intentions, but they don't make less money for the same job. As far as different jobs and different working hours go, then yes, they do make less. But take a look at the US military, that's a good example of how a woman can make more than a man by doing essentially the same work (according to the stories I've heard from people in the US military).

Btw, if you don't want to debate this, that's fine and I'll stop. I've got an endless magazine full of ammo if you do.

    I don't see any flaming/trolling here.

Yes, in a lot of cases. Doesn't matter though, the statistics are all that matters, and they say (and always have said) that white men make more money than any other demographic.

Its [pay/jobs in general] more equal in places than others. Look at the female literacy rate in poor countries and then compare it to mens you'll find gender inequality is ride their. Their just because of a basic stereotype men are the only ones who are allowed to learn bare minimum skills (reading and writing) and women have to follow that stereotype (cook clean look after kids.)

But these were not adults. These were kids. No one was thinking about being raped. At most he was afraid they would see his junk. And the girls were probably all giggly about seeing it. I'd agree with you if this was something like a group of 17 or 18 year old girls doing this to a slightly younger boy, or vice versa. But at the ages involved I don't think they are quite there yet.

Again I'm mainly thinking these are kids that don't understand. This behavior isn't acceptable but at their age it's not exactly unique. In this country particularly kids learn about sexuality in less than optimal ways. So this kind of thing happens.

For one court mandated punishment like a period of time banning them from use of the internet, cameras, perhaps separating the girls involved from each other. I'm not saying leave it all up to the parents. Just that things like imprisonment are going way too far. When you treat kids as adults dumb things happen like a kid getting a naked picture of their girlfriend when they are 16 and he gets charged with a sex crime and labeled as a sex offender for something stupid like that.

I don't see how being a kid excuses them from this, especially when this was pre-meditated and they knew for sure what they were doing was wrong. If you excuse them from this whole scenario, then it will likely be an example that in the future, things like this will go unpunished. Almost like "See? There's no consequence to stripping a helpless little boy naked except maybe getting grounded for a few weeks!" Maybe I'm not using the right words here...

And honestly, we don't know exactly what was going on in the boys head. These days, kids are capable of raping other kids and such and sexual abuse with children isn't exactly uncommon either.

Honestly, the bold statement makes things sound alot worse. So what you are saying is that they were just exploring sexuality? That's a rather lewd way of doing it, especially on an 11 year old kid.

Well, that type of punishment is only a start. While I don't think it's worthy of the sex offender label and imprisonment, a boy/man would undoubtedly get it. A little time in juvie wouldn't hurt IMO as it doesn't compare to jail. If anything, I think they'd might need psychological treatment.

And I do agree that you can't treat teens like adults. But if they want to be treated like adults, they should receive punishment that adults would receive; then they would reconsider the idea of being treated as an adult.
