VPS doesnt compare to a dedicated server. Its not about modchips - look at the unreleased games etc that get discussed and released here, those are the target but they are also the point of this site. Your site isn't in the same ball park (no offense). So what works for you is pretty irrelevant. That said, I am sure this site could be optimized and moved to a cheaper server - but that discussion was already attempted and not going to happen - so that's also pointless.
