That reminds me- I have a huge issue trying to delete files from the attachment box. The issue is I can't delete them, and I've tried everything.

Potentially a new layout option for the photos would be great.

I seriously think we need to have more people involved in the maintenance of the community so as to delegate and balance the load of work. It always helps to do things in groups.

And I agree 100% to reto's suggestions, specially the Wiki, it should be trimmed down in content as to only aim at development hardware/tools/stuff.

As someone else said, remove Sonic from the logo. Not sure who thought that was a good idea in the first place.

It's just not professional, it's not needed, it doesn't fit with anything here. Same with the annoying "Register Now" characters, sorry my phone doesn't always hold cookies the best but I can't sign in when that thing pops up.

As mentioned earlier- IRC chat would be nice.. and for users without an irc client- maybe some java frontend that shows if you're logged in?
Also- tapatalk support or similar?

 

Maybe you could allow users to change the thread name.

 

I agree with making the number of post pictures smaller, sometimes it can get a little confusing if there are like 3 people in a thread with a massive picture of Beat on there profile, sure it only takes a little effort to look at the name or there true profile picture but at a glance it can be misleading

I have no problems with the logo, the "Need toregister" is awesome and I like it, A mobile version tho would be good to remove those.
Some smaller versions of the amount of posts you made will be better yes. also maybe a nice idea is to have a special AG "Gamecharacter" a unlike console/geek/collector character of some sort. some 3d version and/or anime. Like Nintendo sometimes uses mario, or Sony places Metal gear ppl. MS using Masterchief. Keep the colors, they are some way AG related or some old school theme colors.

just my idea's, as long as the content keeps it quality with some weird scam/spam threads once a while to sit back and relax

We need less conspicuous badges for the ranks - e.g. the 3,000 post badge is huge and it's hard to identify a member at-a-glance when scrolling through a thread and it looks like an avatar.

We had an IRC channel years ago and hardly anyone ever used it. And hardly anyone uses IRC at all these days.

I don't like the idea of Flash games - tacky.

As for what I said about being more mobile friendly, have a look at this:

The Mobile Suite should work with the current site and gives us a dedicated mobile app. And it seems vBulletin 5 is fully responsive.

 

Find a server with services and it'll save a lot of work.

I'll be in the cold, cold ground before I give up on IRC.

I concur. I was going to suggest that we have a community project/contest to revamp the post count badges.

I also agree with the requests to make the site more mobile-friendly. It's a pain in the ass changing pages on a phone, because you have to either try to be really accurate, or else zoom in really close to the page button.

 

So where's this unofficial IRC everyone's hanging out in? or.. can someone start one? I idle all day as i use IRC for software support and the like, so .. yeah.
