Ok, i resumed my old Console magazines ("Game power", sono sicuro che lo conosci..) and was able to gain some information that i hope is new... i post it here just to see if you already had it or not. Beware, its just semi official and thus not 100% attainable..if someone knows more, thee shall rise thou hand!

This information is dated July/August 1993 (note that at this point Nintendo alread divorced from Sony, but as stated later in the article, apparently they got back on theyr steps to work with Nintendo and Nec on the SNES CD-ROM!), and is labeled as semi-official :

The Super Famicom ND (Nintendo Disc) Drive was scheduled to be released between december 2003 and march 2004, coming with a special boot cartridge (ND System cartridge). The CPU was planned to be a 32 bit RISC codenamed SCCP with a clock frequency of about 22 Mhz (21.477 to be precise). To that comes a coprocessor named HANDS (Hyper Advanced Nintendo Data transfer System), basically a 65C02 with a clock frequency of 4.295 MHz, which should be used for compression (?) and decompression as well as data transfer between the two systems. 12 Mbit(!) of RAM were planned, dived into 8 + 4, and 2 more Mbit of ROM. The CDs would come in a plastic case (aka old school pc cd's). In theory, the system was planned to be compatible with the CD-I and all the systems of the XA/Bridge standard..??and camed with a save ram of 256K in size.
It could read data from CD at the speed of both 150 Kbyte/Sec and 300 KByte/sec.

One month later (Sep 93), another article stated that at C.E.S. the Big N had slated down the release date of the SNES ND Drive not in 94 anymore and neither in 95, but somewhere in 96...you know where this is heading, right?

Again, as stated in the Magazine of October 93, as for Aug 23 Nintendo annouced his partnership with SGI to create what would had been the "definitive game machine", codenamed "Project Reality".

    Snes CD-Rom Faq

Hey there. Just happening to browse by after not visiting the forums for a while. Cool to see my name in that Snes CD-Rom faq you made. To that note, I thought I'd address a thing or two. In the faq, you wrote "The man at the expo was discovered to be Dan Kramer, people tried to contact him but with no fortune." This is incorrect. Perhaps it was because the thread was getting long or maybe this was just overlooked, but I did indeed contact Dan Kramer, as I said in that post. After talking to him it was clear that the item was not his but rather probably belonged to a person next to him sorta sharing that booth or something. I didn't ask him who that was at the time though. I also noted in that thread that I found footage from the expo it was at where u can see it and Dan for a second AND you can see the other guy in the booth who is likely to be the person in possesion of the item (at least at one time or another). Here's a couple photos from that since apparently nobody else watched it.

I remember commenting on the Computer Space in that! ;)

That patent... well the bottom one is for the caddy system, so work out which alliance was using the caddy system (can't remember without looking).

No offense, but I don't see eye to eye with you on this statement. As far as I know, I am the only one that actually got a response back from Dan (unless I'm missing something. As I've said I haven't been around in a while, etc.). At the time you Paulo, and someone else tried other email addresses and ways of contact but never got anything back that I'm aware of, so I don't even know if he ever even saw those. But when I was contacting him, he didn't seem to be all that bothered. I even posted the email address I used (removed it today in case people actually have bothered him any), because you asked me how I got in touch with him. The main point though, is that I haven't been bothering him, and to the best of my knowledge no one else has either. And even then, the last I wrote Dan was around 11/10/04 so almost a whole YEAR ago. You say you think its time we stop bothering him, I say, tell me who you think has been? And the main point of my last message which I established a year ago was that it wasn't his. And if someone wanted a more definite answer as to who has it currently and more info in general, the people at game-rave.com would be better people to ask anyways.

He e-mailed me back about it a couple of times (Also i think he responded to a couple of others here). Overall his story was he had no idea about it and that was that.

Theres no need to go back and start asking him more about it and asking him to come join the forum to talk about it because he doesnt know anything about it or care much.

    To Paulo

Well then I suppose we are mostly in agreeance. I do not really think that he should be bothered either. But on a side note, that isn't to say that he doesn't remember the person who was next to him in the booth in those pictures. I don't suppose that when you did talk to him, u asked him? I didn't at the time and wouldn't bother now, but I just wondered if you did since it would still be interesting to know...

Well then you dont remember your e-mails :)

    To quote you...

You then went on to say...

So clearly he has no idea whats going on. He then went even more off the beaten path on the reply to my e-mail (which had quiet abit of information and quotes about HIM actually being there!)
