SNES Cd-Rom FAQ!!!

Thank you a lot! anything that can help make the fog dissolve is welcomed... i hope we'll hear some news soon and maybe some foto/video or anything else. also i would love to take a look at the protos inside...

Most of those were just concept cases so the matter is quite complicated... also wasn't encharta supposed tio be out for the snes-philips deal? anyway, any pics or extra info is welcomed!

i have pictures of it somewhere (the sony stand-alone unit with the edutainment stuff), looked alot like a hi-fi.

the magic of the SNES-CD add on is that it's not just one item, it's so many

 

Ya I'm pretty interested to know whaat games were planned or in development.

 

I think they mentioned those 200 units in those 4 (or was it 3?) movies I posted about the history SONY and the Playstation in some thread.

My comments (if not obvious) were in relation to the Sony/SNES CD-ROM combo - not the Phillips unit.

I thought it would fit here as some of the SNES CD-ROM images also contains this proto controller.

 

Interesting, any chance you could scan anymore of that manual? And any other PS-X related stuff.

Maybe this is why there are so many Sony Imagesoft games on the Sega CD? I've always wondered why Sony would release on a Sega system when they were apparently working with Nintendo but I guess they needed somewhere to dump their work onto :lol:
