Mairsil, have you had trouble with the speaking parts? Me and my wife were screaming "YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW" for the better part of an hour last night trying to get through it. Any ideas? Seems like my mike is messed up or the voice recognition is not quite up to par.
After I get some time it's time to hit the ole' Leisure Suit Larry games for a spin. Still haven't finished number 7 after all these years, and I need to pay some tribute to number 2 as well. too bad Al Lowe isn't making any more games nowadays, he's an amazingly funny and friendly person. Need to buy electroplankton, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, and start Paper Mario 2. In the retro department, Little Big Adventure 1 and 2, as well as Simon the Sorceror 1 and 2 are going to be keeping me up late. I ll even consider the first two Broken Sword titles Which reminds me I have to get Runaway 2 and finish Runaway 1 on the PC Man, they sure don't make adventure games the way they used to. If anyone comes up with a new one dont hesitate to inform, keeping in mind that I go for the drawn animated look, (eg: Monkey Island 3), unless we're talking of Grim Fandango (I praise the creators of that one) or Monkey Island 4 (and similar ones)
Puzzle Fighter and Mario vs Donkey Kong on GBA, Donkey Konga on Gamecube, Resident Evil 2 on PSX. Big thumbs up all round.
Right now I'm consistantly getting my ass kicked by Sephiroth in KHII. I've also got saved games for Metal Gear 1&2 and Suikoden Tactics. Not to mention a backlog of games I haven't even opened including Suikoden V, God of War and soon Ace Combat: Zero and Grand Theft Auto: LCS.
Is he as hard or harder than the original KH Sephiroth? I think I beat him around level 75 Frankly, Hades on the first one was a lot more annoying, especially since you had to do a lot of battling before you got to him, anyway. "Havin' fun yet, Havin' fun yet?" Also, the robot in the desert gave me trouble, too.
A lot of people have been complaining about the voice recognition part of the game. I haven't actually played any of those parts yet though.
Yerrow? Seriously though, I think there was a thread over at GameFAQS which went into the specific phonetic pronunciations necessary in order to get the game to recognize certain words.
Just started Tomb Raider Legends on the Xbox, Age of Empires on the DS, started Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 but after 104 hours on Dragon Quest 8 another RPG felt like eating a king size Mars bar and still have more to get through!!! I actually have games(& dvds) still in wrapping that have been sitting on my shelf for more than a year!!!!!
gomba, is Age of Empires on DS anything like the PC game? Could i persuade some friends (that were big fans of the PC versions) to purchase a DS for the game? Or have they twisted it too much to be recognisable?
Berzerk - Atari 2600 Donkey Kong - Atari 5200 (Ported from XE) Metal Gear - Famicom Star Wars Rouge Leader 3 - Gamecube Halo - Xbox Half - Life - PC.
Just had a two day run of Vs melty blood, score attack pop'n music, Vs pan de pon, Vs puyo puyo fever, Vs super monkey ball, fate sword dance (which is awesome with the new patch!), Itadaki street, 2 player Espgaluda, 2 player Ibara and Everyparty. I am multiplayed out, far too stressful having to play well for two whole days! Unfortunately I have exams soon, so now I am not going to play anything for a couple of days. Ok maybe a little Ibara too kill some stress. That game grows on you so much as you explore it more, though it is getting to the "slightly" easy point that garegga gets to when you find most of the scoring points.
