Avernum 4 It's a shareware Mac RPG. Looks crude in regards to graphics, but the seamless world, huge number of quests and compelling plot makes up for that. Try the demo, you might like it www.spiderwebsoftware.com
(digging up old topic) Picked up Brain Age for the DS this afternoon. Damn that thing is addictive...
After the K-Project thread popped up, i played Rez for a few hours last night. I tried out a PAL Rez alpha that i had never bothered with before (my TV doesn't do PAL), i was surprised to find that it had an option for 60 hz which just turned out to be NTSC anyway. I was kind of curious to see what rez would look like in black and white...
I think I'll be picking up brain age tonight. I just got Kingdom hearts 2, going at GOW, Been messing with Metroid Prime hunters and Trama Center. I really gotta give re4 some time to finish that bad boy up. Waiting patiently for HL2 ep one.
Nothing but Oblivion (Still!) for me. This game has completely justified my Xbox 360 purchase...that and PGR3. I've put more time and effort into this game in such a short time than I have in 90% of my DC library! lol
Tomb Raider 360 demo (quite like it) Burnout 4 360 ver Kameo 360 ghost recon advance war 360 Capcom Classics Collection PSP
Constant Play games (i.e games I ve been playing on a weekly/monthly basis just for the relaxation of it, or just because my mental sanity depends on a dose of those games): - F-zero X (and X-pansion Kit for 64DD) (just got the custom background for breaking all time attack records, after so many years - The DD cups are still hanging there at Expert level though) - MarioKart 64 - Super Mario Bros 1, NES, on NES - Othello (classic board game, can be played anywhere, I play on my SE P800) - Captain Tsubasa 1/2 on NES - MarioKart DS (time attacks, just a few ghosts left to beat) Currently playing (not much, I ve got exams comming up) - Geist - NFS most wanted - Chibi Robo (almost completed) EDIT: Being a fanatic F-zero X fan I must protest that F-zero GX, although an amazing looking game with better physics than F-zero X, lacks the style and the strong music behind the previous title. SEGA's cheesy acting and 3D models are not comperable to the American-styled comics-look of the original X and the low-quality yet kick-ass midi Jmetal sounds. Levels also lack the rawness and clever design of the N64 title. Lack of Death Race and ladies with big tits on the menus also a minus. Most people like GX better. Those people need some explaining to do ong:Anyone care to confence why?
I like F-Zero GX, though I wouldn't say I like it better than F-Zero X. Still I found it to be a solid game, and was quite amazing when it first came out.
Diablo 2 LoD on Battle.Net Guild Wars Strongly consider getting Brain Age game for DS Update: got the Brain Training game, but it doesn't understand my voice, word "blue" is the worst. Game is unplayable for me... Probably because English isn't my first language...
Although I scored a high mark at a buch of IQ tests, I can't say i enjoy those kinds of thinking games, or anything that involves actual calculations. I just can't be bothered. In the light of the mentioned facts, do you think Brain Age would be suitable for a person like me?
Im playing StarCraft. (Even though I suck at it.) Im *this* close to editing the crystal resource numbers to 50,000 in all the maps.
Getting back into MK DS online, and starting to kick some ass Also Electroplankton, and I'm starting to get into far cry 1 on the PC. Also been playing some old lucasarts games, particularly monkey island :icon_bigg
Consoles: Currently playing Kingdom Hearts 2, but im about 20 hours in and it's boring me. Too much story, too little gameplay (and feels much more like a button masher then the original). Handhelds: Just beat Daxter (it was awsome, one of the best handheld games i've ever played). Just started Me and My Katamari. Its controls are giving me a hard time getting used to (d-pad and face buttons used to emulate dual analogs). I still like the original Katamari the most.
