What i hate about Sega these days is that they don't even try to be the great game company they once were. Sonic Generations and Daytona USA are good examples of great recent work.

Sonic CD, remade from scratch by Christian Whitehead added 16:9 support, 60fps, selection of soundtrack, tails playable, choose between original or Sonic2 spindash... Sega should just give this guy all the money they make with this port.

By the way, Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles ports by Sega? Added some filters and a blue border. Nice...

Really hope Christian Whitehead remakes all Sonic Games with his RetroEngine.

Really want to download this now but it looks like I have to wait until the 20th for the US psn release. WTF??? This is a bad move by Sony (or Sega??) because now I am tempted to dl for 360 instead. Not knocking 360 but it's not my system of choice.

Have the server download issues been fixed on the Android version of the game?

In reading the user's reviews some say yes, some say no...
I bought it and decided I wouldn't go through the trouble, so I downloaded the data from a different site.

    Really? Doesn't look like it.

They almost killed Sonic, one of their biggest franchises, not to mention the terrible games they keep releasing.

By the way if they really want to make money, why not releas games / do remakes of games people love/want. Where's the new Shenmue or Shenmue 1 / 2 "HD". Where are their great racing games? Why not translating Segagaga and release it? Alex Kidd, Phantasy Star, Space Harrier, Out Run,...

And the list goes on and on... and on.

I'm currently playing Vaquish which Sega had a hand in. Fantastic game. Also you guys seem not to notice that Sega are still making great games. More than Nintendo or Sony do. Many of Nintendo's great IPs are done by 3rd parties and Sony, well they hardly ever make any games.

Yeah, Sega have a lot of IPs which they should bring back but just because they don't doesn't mean they aren't making great games any more. Don't forget, they still make many chart topping arcade games, many of which won't see the light of day in the west due to their nature.

As for those whinning about this New Sonic CD port, well you lot don't know what you want. You whine and bitch about everything. They should have done this, they should have done that. There's no pleasing you. You are honstly like a bunch of babies crying over something not that important. Get a life and grow up for fucks sake.

I only played the demo for Vanquish but loved it. I need to keep an eye out for that one. Should be pretty cheap now. Didn't Sega also have a hand in Bayonetta? That's for sure in my top 5 this gen and probably all time. Loved that game!

For me it was the opposite. I thought the Vanquish demo was too hard but I saw a new copy going cheap and picked it up. What great game. I little short as far as the main story goes but still a great ride while it lasted.

Yep, Sega did have a hand in Bayonetta as well. Another fantastic game.

Vanquish is an awesome game, albeit a little short

But it has jack shit to do with Sega, they are the publisher and little else

Its from platinum games, the ex-clover guys from capcom who were also involved with the old (good) DMC

All the talented people Sega had left the building by 2005

They already ran out of games, this is the 3rd or 4th SonicCD re-release

As long as people buy it they are going to keep releasing it

Yup, Vanquish and Bayonetta had nothing to do with Sega besides them being the publisher. Might as well say they had a hand in the Football Manager series too.

Nope, it's the third one: PC version, Gems Collection and this.
