That would be an excellent idea.
So far I've been in contact with Chris Senn , Mike Wallis, Ross Harris, and Andrew Probert. ( this has been within the past 8 years)
Ross has all his original character models but is not willing to share them as they are a part of his resume. everyone else was a dead end.
I recommend not attempting further contact with them as it may further deter them from communicating with the sonic community in the future.

    Hey guys!

I, Andrew75 and a few others had a conversation a couple of days ago about this:
    32x.png
(Shamelessly taken from SonicRetro here: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=17857 )

Basically it's a 32x demo with this Sonic model spinning.
It has been floating around on the web since 2009 or something.
I reuploaded it to my Dropbox here, if anyone's interested:
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u...rogram - Runlength Mode Test (1994)(Sega).zip

Anyway, we were thinking - does anyone know anything about this? Like.. where did it come from?
Would be awesome to find out more, while we're still on the topic! =P

I need someone to test a couple of NVidia NV1 SDK samples/demos for me on a Diamond Edge 3D 3400 (and others) on Windows 95 and send me screenshots, anyone who has one of those cards and is willing to help, please PM me.

Anyone who has a system that is running Panzer Dragoon or any of the other NV1-specific games perfectly, I need you the most.

I have an issue with the code and I need to find out if it is a hardware problem, an OS problem, or a software problem.

    Thank you in advance!

The june 1996 dts should have a full SBL/SGL folder, plus demos and other documents.

Just read through this entire thread. Lot's of cool stuff going on. I'll check and see if I have the 1996 DTS cd. If I do though it will be Japanese (don't know if that makes a difference)

The March 96 has all of that, but there are some files that changed between SBL 6.00 and 6.01, and the June 96 disc should have the relative demo code, updated to SBL 6.01, or at least I hope so...

It's not too big of a deal anyway, but it would be good to have.

Okay guys, Time to dust off one of the oldest .def files that I could get my hands on. a Version 03 Def file to be exact! Dated 12/28/95. Time 14:26:42. Just so you can imagine the scope of all of this, the latest .def file we know of is Version 042 and dated 12/29/1996.
It took about 2 days of trial and error modeling this over and over again using the 003 def file as a guide. Its very primitive compared to the later files. There are no slope blocks in this .def file whatsoever.
But I think that I got this down now for the most part! I'm sure that there may be something wrong with the UV's on the side of the blocks , they should be rotated 90 degrees, but ehh I'm to tired right now to fix that!
There may be other discrepancies with accuracy , especially since there are no screens to compare with.( I'm flying blind here !)

Without further delay , May I present you with this very important new level ! ( named Level01) ( there are a lot of LEVEL01s by the way)
Notice that there are 2 sprite sets for the rings , Horizontal and vertical.

The circled blue thing moves around following an edge and also hurts Sonic according to the .def information ( ow!) its animation includes a spark attack.
