meh, GT was always boring to me due to "simulistic" car driving gameplay. I mean, I do drive a car, and it's nothing like holding a controller. Other than that, the graphics are nice, but PGR4 are that wee bit better.
True, but you can get some excellent steering wheels for the PS2/PS3. The simulator part is just an attempt to indicate GT doesn't use the Ridge Racer method of steering  Looks like this fellow: http://tserve01.aid.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp/~fujiki/ole_coordinate_system/index.html got a nice job with Sony.
Excellent steering wheels for the PS3? alright, but what about that nice wireless microsoft one? =) Pretty damn impressive that one is.
and PSP ISOs. It's really starting to piss me off what I see on other forums or sites. People seem to think sony owes them the right to pretty much pirate.
I have no major complaints re the Test output, however it is set at 4:3 so looking forward to further options and output methods. Nice!
Knowing NOTHING (and I mean bugger ALL) about the technology employed in reading those memory sticks, but how difficult would it be to create an adaptor from memory stick to a SATA 2.5" drive (for example)? I.e. plug a memory stick attached to an HDD. Utter nonsense? Probably barking up and entirely different tree, and those vastly more technical than me are probably immediately saying "idiot!" very loudly. But hey, just curious? Is it possible?
Hi all! I want to say that those upcoming PS3 games looking really awesome! MGS4, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Gran Tursimo 5, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet and Echochrome! And those multiplatform Games like: Resident Evil 5, Haze, Burnout Paradise, Call of Duty 4, Soul Calibur 4, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, Assassins Creed... I think there are coming many good Games for the next-gen Videogame-Systems! And in my eyes there are only 2 of them: XBox360 (Halo 3, Mass Effect, Darksiders...) and PS3. What is with Wii? Where are the Games? I dont like it anymore. I know many of the hardcore-assemblers here are in love with their wii. Now, i cant understand them...
I'll probably have to buy a damn PS3 just because GT5, MGS4, Killzone 2 and probably Warhawk. Everything else on the 360. Still, not as soon as i hoped. PS3 + VF5 costs 3.000 Reais. Xbox 360 +PGR3+Kameo+PD is the same. 3.000 Reais = 1.578 dollars. I'm trying to find a way to get both, but don't know how.
Wait for both Johnny. The PS3 is too expensive (and the good games are not out yet) and the XB360 is a time bomb. Christmas time it is then!
Yeah, i'll wait. I still don't have a decent TV, and i'll buy that first. I liked the new Samsung LCD's, called Tulip. 1080P and 40' size, for a decent price. I'll hope for a price drop... and a tax drop as well, although that is more difficult.
Dude is not that simple: the PSX download numbers are pretty high, and with the commercial success of the VC it would be a great move to release a PSP with internal memory. Its already easy for pirates to load PSP Isos on it (as simple as going to a camera shop and getting a 2/4GB MSduo) so a PSP with internal NAND wont cause a shitstorm, but will help the casual ones who want to play games right out of the box. If theres something that makes any buyer angry is having to buy something else to make it work, and that includes extra memory. And parris, I'm not an expert either but there were some attempts (like that Datel HDD) and the result was underwhelming to say the least. MSduos are pretty cheap nowadays, and most pirates can load several (read 4 o 5) PSP Isos in one 4GB stick. If it used CF cards instead of MS you could connect a IDE SSD since the CF's pins are exactly like the ones in a IDE port.
