Most impressive. As expected, Sony have brought their game up. Let's see what Microsoft do next.

As a side note, I'm sold on a PSP now that it has TV output and faster load times. I wonder how extended the battery life is?

Sony has the exclusives still, but this time they are produced by Sony themselves for the most part. Clever. I found myself thinking little about GTA4, compared to the new content who gives a shit? That Chrome game looked fantastic, especially if it allows you to make your own puzzles. Haze was nothing to boast about after the KZ2 showing. In terms of the games shown at these 2007 E3 conferences, the PS3 would be the machine to own by a decent margin IMO if it wasn't for the price. 80GB is a stupid upgrade for $100, make it 120 and it is more convincing. $499 is still too much money, even though I think it is pretty reasonable value for all the stuff you're getting. It's just too big an outlay for something that will sit under the TV.

NCSoft was a big surprise - Sony must be trying hard for that Korean market. Guildwars on the PS3 would be a very nice addition to the PSN. Seems odd they'd place someone like that as exclusive partners with their SOE company providing MMO content for the box already though. Have they bought them out?

It does make me decided on buying a PS3 though, it just won't be until around Christmas time.

It was a very well presented conference, I think it showcased their upcoming proucts pretty well, they had some interesting games (echo chrome for psp/psn and big little planet game).

As for the lighter psp, i never found the size a problem, the video out to tv is nice as its built in.

MGS4 looked the shit, I cant wait for that game to come out. the conference left me wanting a PS3 but last years was probably the same.

playstation home looks like a very interesting feature aslong as real estate isnt to expensive :p. Still at the current European price i`m not going to bother.

I will say this: Sony did a good job this year. Sure, many of their games are not quite exclusive, but they did do one thing I am happy about: PSP games playable on the TV. May be time for me to trade in my 'ol Japanese version for one.

because then, how would they be abe to justify selling the same system twice, probably to the same consumer?

They probably didn't want the PSP to directly compete with the PS2. Now it isn't really an issue.

Many sony did a great job but damn gamespot for making it hard to watch what was on the tv screens.

Even after UT3 & KZ2, I still think haze looked good. I am really looking forward to getting that one.

Disapointed they did not show more on psp titles but atleast the system was not ignored. I am also disapointed they did not touch up more on PS1 downloadable games.

Yet but man that new PSN/PSP game is freaking awsome. To me it's another "Crush" like game. It's an innovative and creative game nobody really though up.

MGS4 looks very nice. Except the first shot of Snake against that tent, check out his shadow! I can count the pixels on one hand! :p But it looks like it's going to be a pretty epic game. The final installment, Snakes story will end. I wonder if there will be some sort of multiplayer. I also want to see some gameplay of the stealth stuff in the battlefields and what not. Once you beat it, will there be much replay value? VR missions? :D

Also, for those who have a PS3: download the MGS4 trailer from the Playstation store. It does the trailer far more justice then the low quality versions you see on the net.

I am blazing over that MGS4 video. Looks amazing - again - and that fight with vamp(?) looked amazing. You see there is no point to graphics without artistic direction and a bit of drama.

I thought killzone looked pretty good as well. Not my kind of game, but I am more likely to grab it than Halo at this point!

New PSP....yawn....not huge anyway......33% smaller more likely to suffer from the disk ejecting with the machine flexing as the first batches did

TV out......uummmm......don`t think I would worry about that as a few machine specific games and anyway..designed to play on a small screen

MGS4....never really been a fan so not to worried on that either

So overall not that great for me.......small price reduction on PS3 only applies to US a the moment so Europe will continue to get fleeced and even if £100 knocked off.....still on games that grab me by the balls and say MUST HAVE

So will have to wait and see what the others offer!
