Historically French Indochina? More likely though I'd guess they take French Canadian games and re-repackage them for "Asia". BTW, I think the first and last good Soul game was DC Soulcal (far surpassed the ARC), the sequels have only brought one improvement--girly fanservice, everything else has been pointless, unnecessary and/or retarded.
I haven't played 4 yet but 3 was trash compared to the first 2. As for 2, i liked the Gamecube version. It was most accurate to the arcade version, considering Triforce hardware is comparable to Gamecubes. I also have it for the xbox. What was up with Heihachi for Ps2 version? The game is called soul CALIBUR, the fucker didn't have goddamn weapons!
Heihachi is like Chuck Norris. He has no need for weapons. His fists can parry giant steel war axes, without fear of damage.
SC III definitely had it's faults but there is a lot of stuff from it I am missing in SC IV. Granted I haven't completely gone through the game but so far I've found... - Story mode sucks compared to SCIII - Tower of Lost Souls sucks compared to Chronicles of the Sword - Create a Character lost far more than it gained - The new characters in IV are not near as innovative as previous games - User interface is more unfriendly in areas This is just off the top of my head and doesn't even include some of the smaller gripes. It feels like they got carried away on the graphics side and forgot about the rest. Who knows though. Maybe it will grow on me in time as I get more into it.
and too many assholes are playing on Live Oh I'll just be sigfried or Kilik OR I'll just do the same 4 unblockable combos over and over. So I either leave (which has hindered my progress) or be a cheap asshole back. (I use Shura) Also Hilde is technically the only new character the bonus people are just like other characters maybe faster or slower depending on who it is.
Anyone has the numbers of soul calibur 2 in the three platforms?? I see that in Japan SC2 ps2 outsold SC2 GC version, but I haven't numbers of USA-Euroland.
wow I would have thought II sold most on gamecube. Now the numbers for II make III being PS2 exclusive even more baffling.
King Arthur: You fight with the strength of many men, Sir Knight. [the Black Knight doesn't respond] King Arthur: I am Arthur, King of the Britons. [No response] King Arthur: I seek the bravest and the finest knights in the land who will join me in my court at Camelot. [No response] King Arthur: You have proved yourself worthy. Will you join me? [No response] King Arthur: You make me sad. So be it. Come, Patsy! [Attempts to get around the Black Knight] Black Knight: None shall pass. King Arthur: What? Black Knight: None shall pass! King Arthur: I have no quarrel with you, good Sir Knight. But I must cross this bridge. Black Knight: Then you shall die. King Arthur: I command you, as King of the Britons, to stand aside! Black Knight: I move for no man. King Arthur: So be it! [They fight until Arthur cuts off Black Knight's left arm] King Arthur: Now, stand aside, worthy adversary! Black Knight: 'Tis but a scratch! King Arthur: A scratch? Your arm's off! Black Knight: No, it isn't! King Arthur: Well, what's that then? King Arthur: I've had worse. King Arthur: You liar! Black Knight: Come on, you pansy! [They fight again. Arthur cuts off the Knight's right arm] King Arthur: Victory is mine! [Kneels to pray] King Arthur: We thank thee, Lord, that in thy mercy - [Cut off by the Knight kicking him] Black Knight: Come on, then. King Arthur: What? Black Knight: Have at you! King Arthur: You are indeed brave, Sir Knight, but the fight is mine! Black Knight: Oh, had enough, eh? King Arthur: Look, you stupid bastard. You've got no arms left! Black Knight: Yes I have. King Arthur: *Look*! Black Knight: It's just a flesh wound.
Well, another question. What do you think about the "DLC"? The things are in the disc and you only buy to unlock it ... o scamco ... The SC bso 1800 MS and the complete game 1200??
