Thanks, as always you're a wealth of knowledge on all things TOOL related!!

I wouldn't even know where to start looking for it??

A couple of questions though if you don't mind?? Is there a desktop installed on the TOOL?? And how do I get around the "permission denied" in most of the files??

Edit: I just reset my tool and it had a screen about the mouse, it still doesn't seem to be working though??

It's not really Tool related, only basic Linux stuff, maybe you need a book...
Try "rpm -qa | grep gpm" or "man gpm", any result?

By desktop, you mean a GUI?
Most likely not, what happens if you type "startx"?
Don't forget that the Tool wasn't meant to be used this way by the developers.
If you find an old RedHat CD/ISO of the same version installed on your Tool, you can install X11 yourself.

About the "permission denied", what are you trying to do, executing non-executables files?
Look at the chmod manpage for help on changing permissions: "man chmod"

I've got a few books on Linux, but none of them explain anything, they just say log in as a user an enjoy!!

Okay I'll try that right now!! Thanks!!

Edit: Nah, it says no man entry for gpm, and then underneath it says broken pipe!!

I get a no such file or directory, but I've done some digging round in the files and there's a folder there, but I can't access it!!

    Okay nice!!

Okay thanks!! Some of the files I've been trying to get into are the green ones, but I still get "Permission Denied"!!

I still can't add me as a user yet?? :banghead:And I've followed this tutorial as well but still no luck!!
