But still.. your own fault, You could have avoid this problem If you had read the review. That what reviewing are there for to begin with. I had never let myself down when I buy games because I always check the review to see what the content have. If I don't like it then I will avoid buying the game. I big fan of Tomb Raider and Resident evil but I was close to buy a Guardian of light, Resident evil 6 and Resident evil operation Raccoon city. Those games are crap which full of Co-op and multilayer which I not interested. So yeah thanks to journalist to save me from disappointed.
It's also coming out on the XBox 360 (and PC), and if I buy it it will be either for the 360 or PC (I don't have an XBox One), depending on if I buy it at all (it's not looking like it will interest me), and if I do then I'll get it on the PC if it supports mods, otherwise on the 360 (I prefer console to PC gaming where all else is even), unless one port is significantly better than the other, in which case I'll get that. Not me - I much prefer a (good) single player campaign, though I do like the occasional multiplayer, but mainly split screen (so you play with people in the same room, as the atmosphere is much better, but sadly splitscreen is becoming extinct).
If the issue was i did not like how it played , graphics or something similar I would agree with you, but the fact that I can not play this offline and with only people in one room and there was no warning of this is wrong on EA's part. I should not have to see reviews to find this out. That should be clearly stated on the box.
I probably misunderstood in the first place. If it wasn't stated on the front game box. That was a stupid from EA. That case, it not your fault to begin with.
Most people who buy new games never look at a review online before they buy games. I went all through N64 and PS2 era without reading a review.
This is obviously a matter of opinion - I had both machines, and the 360 got far more playtime than the PS3 did. There were a couple of reasons for this - one was simply that in most cases if the same title was available on both platforms then the 360 version was better, another was that PS3 online multiplayer was infested with cheaters and assholes and xbox live was much better in that respect (still had assholes, though). I also happened to prefer the 360 controller to the DS3, although that's obviously a subjective opinion. As for the exclusives, there were certainly some great titles for PS3 near the end of it's run - but I can also remember that for the first couple of years my PS3 was basically unused. As for reliability, I guess I must have been lucky - I had a launch 360 which RLODed and MS fixed it (in fact, swapped the motherboard for a new one) - I later replaced it with one of the HDMI equipped models with the die shrink, and that one is still working. My PS3 was also a launch model although, as I mentioned, it didn't really get that much use - I finally killed it playing _The Last of Us_, but by that point it had lasted about 6 years, so I guess I can't complain that much. But overall I had much more quality gaming time with the 360 than the PS3. YMMV.
Well yes opinion is a opinion. Well I still have the original XBOX360 Arcade model (without HDMI input) of course it still works to this day and last time I powered up the XBOX360 was back in 2008. Only reason of that because it was lack of use. Only game I played is Gears of war, Halo 3 and Project Gotham racing 4. Also I still have Original PS3 model and still works to this day after six years of heavy used. Controllers don't really bother me to be honest. I find both version are fine. Of course later models for XBOX360 has improve the reliability but too late since it ruining the reputation by failure percentage which is pathetic and pissing of so many gamers. I used to play and paid XBOXlive for two years which is a good service. There are plenty asshole little kids but also cheaters aswell (Thanks to Call of duty) PSN has the same but I find PSN user abit more mature. Many people bragging about how good XBL is because it a paid system and How rubbish PSN is because it free because of lag. It sooooo full of shit, I been using PSN six years and I never had a problem with it and top of that.. it free. Sure XBOX360 had a good start but it seems PS3 overtake much later this generation. We both pretty much the opposite way.
