Lending, I have learned, is a big no-no. I lent one of my friends my Pokemon comics, and when they were returned, they were pretty fucked. I never lend this person games anymore, either, because he leaves them all over the floor (cds on the floor with the art side up! >:[ ) and he generally doesnt know how to take care of his stuff.

I also lent this one guy my MGS and Metal Slug games, and I got them all back except the first CD of MGS was "lost". It didnt really bother me much, since it was a GH version and I had the twin snakes on the GC, but im not lending him anymore games or anything, either.

Also, Dont ever bet with your friends, especially if they are dumb enough to say "The deal is off, I aint payin you shit!" after the bet. I won a GBA SP in a bet with one of my friends, and its a VERY EXTREMELY LONG SLIGHTLY INTERESTING story to say the least. I also won my Xbox from this person, too, which is also another VERY EXTREMELY LONG YET NOT QUITE AS LONG AS THE GBA SP bet story.

As of today, I vow to never sell, lend, or bet on videogame related stuff ever again. Its just more stress than its worth. :/

On a slightly lighter note though I recently sold a pce duo to a mate/contact..and like the knob that I am left a mint copy of Bazarre de Gozarre in the cd tray (only 1000 copies ever made I believe). I found out about 3 weeks later when he asked how to get past lever 5 and I'm like OH MY GOD. He sent it back the next day and it was still mint! It felt soooo good reuniting the cd with its case, instructions and spinecard.

As for general regrets..well being 28 a lot of the consoles I caught new first time round...except it was the common situation of sell the master system to fund a megadrive, sell the md to fund a saturn etc. So until 3 years ago, when I got back into gaming after a few years off when at uni (too much sex drugs and rock n roll) I sold everything. Yes, I am a knob:)

I traded two absolutely mint official Jaguar flashcarts for a much-less-mint flashcart and ROM images of four unreleased games once. All of which have since been released, and only one with my help:smt022

The only regret I have is trading Kid Icarus (PAL 1st release, small box) against some crap NES game. Other than that, I always kept everything. And if I did sell something, it was only to buy a more awesome game instead. :)

I sold a whole lot of PS1 and PS2 games at Funcoland to afford a Gamecube back when RE0 was released. So stupid of me. I think the max I got for one game was like 7$.

I even sold my copy of ZOE with the MGS2 demo inside! Luckily I found that back (I think it might be mine too) at the EBgames close to there 2 years later!

I sold my collection of genesis games (some rare rpg's and all), and I totally regret it :( Fortunately I was able to buy most of them again and I'm never repeating this mistake anymore :)
